Background: The prevalence and severity of allergic diseases, including pollinosis, are increasing worldwide. Hay fever develops due to the complex interaction of genes and manifests itself due to exogenous factors. The main environmental etiology of allergy is plant pollen. Continuous study and analysis of the air pollen spectrum constitute the basis of air monitoring and are important in developing preventive measures for allergic diseases.   Objective: To perform an air pollen monitoring in Kr snodar and to assess the treatment of patients with pollinosis in various cities and districts of the Krasnodar Region according to the Krasnodar Regional Allergy Center data.   Materials and methods: We retrospectively analyzed the patients seeking medical care due to allergy in the Krasnodar Region using the statistical data obtained in 2022 from the Krasnodar Regional Allergy Center. We assessed the effects of air pollen pollution according to the data of air pollen monitoring in Krasnodar during the main activity of herbaceous plants’ taxa (from April 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022). We used AeRobiology and Microsoft Excel 2010 tools for data processing and development of the main parameters of the pollen season.   Results: According to the Krasnodar Regional Allergy Center data, there were 37,212 people diagnosed with J45.0, J46 and 20,012 people diagnosed with J30.1-30.4 in 2022. We identified 8 allergenic taxa of herbaceous plants in the Krasnodar air. We found that the total seasonal pollen concentration increased by an average of 1.8 in 2022 compared to previous monitoring periods in 2018-2021.   Conclusions: Comparative assessment of the prevalence of pollinosis and the air pollen monitoring are important for effective medical care

Chronologies of the anatomical and integral parameters of the Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) earlywood and latewood were investigated for two sites in the Minusinsk depression with different soil moisture conditions. Patterns of statistical characteristics and climatic responses of the chronologies were identified. Differences between sites were revealed in the cell diameter and wall thickness distributions. These differences are indicators of adapting pine wood structure to the moisture deficit

Aim. To demostrate the complexity of the diagnosis and the consequences of the effect of insufficient hormone replacement therapy on the prognosis of the patient with the viril form of congenital adrenal cortical hyperplasia. Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of anamnestic data, the course of the disease, laboratory and instrumental data and ongoing treatment throughout the life of the patient from birth to 23 years was carried out. Results. Since the diagnosis was established, frequent changes in periods of decompensation and compensation were observed, which led to the development of central and peripheral adenomatosis – adrenal hyperplasia, pituitary microadenoma, development of the polycystic ovary syndrome. Сonclusion. This case shows the importance of compensation for congenital adrenal cortical hyperplasia at all stages of ontogenesis to prevent the development of complications

    Hypercalcemic crisis. Clinical case

Administration of calcium and vitamin D preparations always requires competent selection of doses, and combinations of drugs from a doctor as well as careful clinical and laboratory monitoring of the patient. Physician should always be aware of the danger of overdose, which can lead to very adverse consequences. An appearance of the first symptoms of overdose requires constant laboratory control and urgent measures to address this condition. One should also remember about other causes of hypercalcemia, which can help in the differential diagnosis. Clinical case presented by us is an example of how the lack of knowledge about the combined treatment of patients with postsurgical hypoparathyroidism can lead to some serious consequences such as hypercalcemic crisis
