Amorphous Coatings for High-Temperature Protection of Metallic Substrates

    No full text
This work focuses on the less known amorphous coatings based on enamels, formed at 1050-11500C for (I) in vacuum at 10-3-10-4 Pa and at 800-8500C in oxygen atmosphere for (II). As a basis for synthesis of coatings the glasses in the Al2O3 (B2O3) -SiO2-P2O5- BaO(MgO) glass building system by molar ratio of Al2O3 (B2O3):SiO2:P2O5 ~1 were used. The study is concerned 4with the development of two kinds of amorphous coating to protect (I) and (II) from oxygen corrosion at temperatures above 550-6000C. It Includes: - the preparation process of (I) and (II), deposition of it on the surface of substrates, - the high-temperature annealing process, - the study of the properties of coating and the structure of the contact zone formed between coating and substrates in high-temperature annealing process, and after high-temperature testing under operating conditions in different atmosphere
