    Many cases of AIDS in Japan are now resulting from both heterosexual and homosexual activity among young people in their twenties. This study reports on, and shows the continuing necessity of AIDS education for junior college and senior high school students. 1) Junior college students have better consciousness and knowledge than high school students. 2) They lack understanding of the causes of HIV. 3) They lacked understanding of the time when we investigated. 4) Information from newspapers and TV had immediate effect on them. 5) They had better understanding after the lectures than before the lectures, and they retained that understanding even after a year
