    SOCIAL ORIENTATION OF ATHLETES: SOCIO-CULTURAL AND AXIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

    Relevance. The contradictory and ambiguous situation that has developed in modern sports requires an expanded range of scientific research in the field of axiology and psychology of sports. The existing facts of negative manifestations in sports determine the search for socio-cultural and axiological features of the social orientation of athletes. The purpose of the study was to conduct a sociocultural and axiological analysis of the social orientation of athletes. Research methods: The methodological basis of the study was socio-philosophical, ethical-philosophical, cultural, macro-psychological and axiological characteristics of sports as a social institution, socio-psychological aspects of sports and sports activities; ideas of multidimensionality and systemic development of the social orientation of an athlete. When conducting a theoretical study, a theoretical analysis of the literature, the study of dissertation research, regulatory documents and scientific articles, generalization and systematization of the results obtained were used. The results of the study. It is substantiated that the phenomenon of sport, which demonstrates a general social orientation, is the object of a wide range of cultural, philosophical, psychological, sociological scientific works. The analysis made it possible to identify socio-cultural and axiological factors that determine the social orientation of athletes

    Social Justice Based on Religious Forms of Prosociality in Russia

    This article shows the social and psychological aspects of the prosociality in Russia which help to see the ways to social justice forming. In Russia, under the influence of Christianity forms an approach to prosocial behavior as a mandatory element of public life. Objective of study is an identification of the peculiarities of prosocial manifestation in Russian people with different levels of religiosity in modern social and cultural conditions. This study is conducted on the base of the complex of methods, namely, The Scale of Altruism (SRA); Social Norms of Prosocial Behavior (SNPB); Index of Core Spiritual Experiences (INSPIRIT); Religious Orientation Scale (RSO). The sample consists of 221 people living in various Russian cities (38% of men, 62% of women) aged 20 to 66 years (M-39.8). As a result, the collected data and their evaluation and discussion help to support the idea that spirituality and citizenship have a regulatory influence on the prosocial motives of mercy, tolerance, and altruism

    Introduction. In the current situation of socio-economic development, the process of digitalization of a society has a significant impact on the socialization of an individual. Digital media resources can set ideal personality patterns and norms of behavior, forming value orientations and prosocial behavior of youth. Purpose. To analyze and evaluate the influence of prosocial media on the psychological perception of students, expressed in prosocial thinking, emotional reactions and prosocial intentions. Study participants. The sample consisted of 210 Moscow students (28% of males, 72% of females) aged 18 to 26 (M = 21). Methodical tools. The subjects were asked to watch sequentially seven videos (media resources) of prosocial content posted on the YouTube video hosting. The influence of prosocial media on nonsocial thinking, emotional reactions, and prosocial intentions was evaluated using the specially designed questionnaire “Media Resource Analysis”. The obtained empirical data were comprehended and processed using content analysis, quantitative analysis methods (descriptive statistics, percentage analysis, Friedman's two-way rank analysis of variance for related samples, Mann-Whitney test, Pearson correlation analysis).     Psychological resistance of student youth to information stress in the COVID-19 pandemic

    Introduction. Self-isolation, accompanied by intensive inclusion in the digital information environment, has led to a deterioration in students’ psychological well-being and the emergence of information stress. Information stress is associated with the compulsive use of social networks, viewing aggressive news content, disseminating misinformation. The purpose of the study was to study the features of information behavior, psychological stability and ways to cope with information stress for Russian students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Study participants and methods. The sample consisted of 218 students from Moscow and Ivanovo aged 18 to 26 (M=19.5) (33% men, 67% women). A specially developed questionnaire was used to identify the features of students’ information behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic; to assess psychological stability and determine coping strategies in conditions of information stress, the methodology “Questionnaire of Coping Methods” (QCM) was used (R. Lazarus, S. Folkman, in Russian-language adaptation by T.L. Kryukova, E.V. Kuftyak, M.S. Zamyshlyaeva). Results and scientific novelty. The cluster analysis allowed identifying four types of students’ information behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic: phobic (20%), cognitive (45%), nihilistic (20%) and circulating behavior (15%). To a greater extent, in order to cope with information stress during the COVID-19 pandemic, student youth use constructive coping strategies for planning (x = 58.5±21.7), positive reassessment (x = 51.9±19.3), self-control (x = 47.5±17.8), characterized by a purposeful analysis of the situation and possible behavior options, including the determination of personal development directions. Besides, a significant part of students resort to the use of destructive coping strategies of avoidance, confrontation, distancing, caused by negative experiences, leading to the circulation of unofficial information about the pandemic. Half of the respondents need social support. The regression analysis made it possible to identify predictors of psychological resistance (coping strategies) to information stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. Practical significance. The identified types of information behavior can be used in educational work with students and their psychological support in order to personalize the communicative impact, as well as in the monitoring system of students’ psychological state and their perception of risks, the level of awareness and trust in the information received, the adoption of established rules and the willingness to follow them. ave ave av

    Relevance. The article substantiates the relevance of the search for practice-oriented technologies in the training of university students. The subject of the research is service learning technology, which combines academic training and practical activities of future teachers in specific situations in the interests of people in need of support. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the potential of service learning technology in preparing students to ensure the psychological safety of schoolchildren with limited health opportunities. Research methods: literature analysis on the research problem, data systematization, survey, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, including percentage analysis. Study participants: students of T.G. Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University (Republic of Moldova). The results of the study. The awareness of students about the service learning method and their readiness to master it is revealed. The essence of the concept of service learning is revealed, the experience of its application in foreign and domestic universities is described, the possibility of its use in the work of preparing students to ensure the psychological safety of schoolchildren with disabilities is substantiated. The model of formation of students’ readiness to ensure the psychological safety of schoolchildren with disabilities is presented. Conclusion. The practical significance of the research is expressed in the creation of a comfortable and safe educational environment declared for the priority purposes of the state.     PROFESSIONAL WELL-BEING AND RESILIENCE OF DOCTORS AND MEDICAL STAFF

    Background. The well-being of doctors and medical staff is vital to their professional activities. Resilience is recognized as a key condition for well-being and is an important factor in socionomic professions. In medical practice, resilience helps doctors and medical staff cope with difficulties and overcome burnout. Purpose. The aim is to study the relationship of well-being in the professional activities of doctors and medical personnel with resilience and conditions supporting it. Methods. A group of 178 medical workers, including doctors, secondary and junior medical personnel, was studied. The resilience scale provided a general indicator of resilience and its components, the WHO well-being scale assessed well-being over the past two weeks. The attractiveness of the profession, the mood it evokes and the satisfaction of the individual with the need for security were evaluated. The relationships between the variables were studied using Spearman correlation coefficients, taking into account the position and multiple regression analysis. Results. Significant positive correlations were found between well-being and general resilience (r = 0,599, p < 0,01), position (r = 0,361, p < 0,01), attractiveness of the profession (r = 0,359, p < 0,01), mood (r = 0,361, p < 0,01) and satisfaction with the need for security (r = 0,159, p < 0,05). Conclusion. Well-being in the professional sphere of doctors and medical personnel is associated with commitment to professional activity, control and risk-taking, attractiveness of the profession, the mood that it causes, satisfaction of the need for psychological security. The results obtained confirm the consideration of resilience as a resource component of the professional well-being of doctors and medical personnel. Strategies for ensuring well-being in the profession should take into account the practices of interventions that stimulate the identified correlates
