Gambaran Intelligence Quotient (IQ) Pelajar Kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Manado

: Commonly, intelligence is often called cleverness hence people with high intelligence are often called clever individuals or geniuses. In the education sector, intelligence is utilized to know the academic achievement of an individual. This study was aimed to determine the intelligence quotient (IQ) of students of science class XI at SMA Negeri 1 (senior high school) Manado. This was a descriptive study with a cross sectional design. There were 140 subjects in this study who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. The results showed that 30 subjects were in the superior IQ score category (36%); 29 subjects in the above average IQ score category (35%); 22 subjects in the average IQ score category (27%); 2 subjects in the below average IQ score category (2%); and there was 1 deviative subject (1%). Conclusion: The intelligence quotient (IQ) of SMA Negeri 1 Manado students of science class XI was categorized as above average
