AI Machine Vision based Oven White Paper Color Classification and Label Position Real-time Monitoring System to Check Direction

    Get PDF
We develop a vision system for batch inspection by oven white paper model color by manufacturing a machine vision system for the oven manufacturing automation process. In the vision system, white paper object detection (spring), color clustering, and histogram extraction are performed. In addition, for the automated process of home appliances, we intend to develop an automatic mold combination detection algorithm that inspects the label position and direction (angle/coordinate) using deep learning

The Effect of UVA and UVB on DNA Synthesis and Unscheduled DNA Synthesis in Mouse Skin

The effects of ultraviolet light A (UVA) and ultraviolet light B (UVB) on DNA synthesis and unscheduled DNA synthesis (UDS) were studied in mouse skin by microautoradiography. The mice were exposed to 50mJ / em" UVB by fluorescent sunlamp or 50J / ern" UVA by metal halide mercury lamp. Time course studies were performed immediately, 6 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours after UVA and UVB exposure. There was no decreased number of heavily labeled cells (HLC) representing DNA synthesis immediately after UVA exposure and up to 48 hours postirradiation. However, immediately after and at 6 hours after UVA irradiation there was an increased number of sparsely labeled cells (SLC) representing UDS. Recovery was noticed 24 hours after irradiation and it was maintained after 48 hours postirradiation. These results clearly demonstrate that UVA induces considerable DNA damage and repair. DNA synthesis decreased immediately and at 6 hours and at 24 hours after UVB exposure. It recovered at 48 hours after UVB exposure. UDS increased immediately and at 6 hours after UVB exposure. Repair synthesis was completed at 24 hours after UVB exposure

Involvement of Heme Oxygenase-1 Induction in the Cytoprotective and Immunomodulatory Activities of Viola patrinii in Murine Hippocampal and Microglia Cells

A number of diseases that lead to injury of the central nervous system are caused by oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain. In this study, NNMBS275, consisting of the ethanol extract of Viola patrinii, showed potent antioxidative and anti-inflammatory activity in murine hippocampal HT22 cells and BV2 microglia. NNMBS275 increased cellular resistance to oxidative injury caused by glutamate-induced neurotoxicity and reactive oxygen species generation in HT22 cells. In addition, the anti-inflammatory effects of NNMBS275 were demonstrated by the suppression of proinflammatory mediators, including proinflammatory enzymes (inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclooxygenase-2) and cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-1β). Furthermore, we found that the neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects of NNMBS275 were linked to the upregulation of nuclear transcription factor-E2-related factor 2-dependent expression of heme oxygenase-1 in HT22 and BV2 cells. These results suggest that NNMBS275 possesses therapeutic potential against neurodegenerative diseases that are induced by oxidative stress and neuroinflammation
