A Tool to Recover Scalar Time-Delay Systems from Experimental Time Series
We propose a method that is able to analyze chaotic time series, gained from
exp erimental data. The method allows to identify scalar time-delay systems. If
the dynamics of the system under investigation is governed by a scalar
time-delay differential equation of the form ,
the delay time and the functi on can be recovered. There are no
restrictions to the dimensionality of the chaotic attractor. The method turns
out to be insensitive to noise. We successfully apply the method to various
time series taken from a computer experiment and two different electronic
oscillators

The aim of the research is to develop the methodology of bankruptcy prediction applying the specified statutory values of the existing models with a glance to companyβs industry and developing the authorβs prediction model. Initially authors estimated the forecast accuracy of the existing models for the enterprises of 8 industries. Using CART (Classification And Regression Tree) methodology the original statutory values of the models were specified for every industry under research. The calculated statutory values demonstrated the high level of prediction accuracy and balanced the indicators of accuracy for bankrupt and non-bankrupt companies. The indicators with the maximum level of significance for bankruptcy prediction were selected from all the models. They formed a basis for a new developed model, which has demonstrated the high level of prediction accuracy on a sample under research. The statutory values for the new model were also developed. The implementation of the researchβs results will increase the efficiency of bankruptcy prediction and low the number of bankrupt companies.ΠΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠ΅Π΄ΠΏΡΠΈΠ½ΡΡΠΎ Π΄Π»Ρ ΡΠΎΠ²Π΅ΡΡΠ΅Π½ΡΡΠ²ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΌΠ΅ΡΠΎΠ΄ΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΠΈ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ³Π½ΠΎΠ·ΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ Π±Π°Π½ΠΊΡΠΎΡΡΡΠ²Π° ΠΏΡΡΠ΅ΠΌ ΡΡΠΎΡΠ½Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ Π½ΠΎΡΠΌΠ°ΡΠΈΠ²Π½ΡΡ

The growth of holding business structures predetermined the need to transform existing financial management tools. Among other results, a special financial control has appeared to achieve the long-term strategic company goals. Financial control of the development strategy with specific implementation is now one of the key management tools ensuring the prospective implementation of the company corporate strategy. The research objective is to determine the methodological basis for a controlled indicators system, considering non-financial factors of the company value formation. The methodological basis of the research consists of a systematic approach, use of statistical methods of data analysis and evaluation, content analysis. The results have been substanted due to the information published on the Moscow Exchange website, the Forbes rating of the largest Russian companies, the official websites of Russian companies. The research relevance is determined by need to clarify the content of financial control of holding development strategy and its implementation. The examples of building financial control systems in Russian companies have been provided. A universal scheme of financial control system has been created. Key methods of strategic financial control have been defined: strategic modelling; building value chains; factor and scenario analysis; in-depth study of financial status using mathematical and econometric methods and modern computer software. Regarding the specifics of financial control, its implementation scheme has been defined, and the main differences from the traditional implementation have been outlined. Company value maximizing is the main goal of financial control of the development strategy. It has substanted the control of non-financial cost factors. They include: company management model; the degree of social responsibility of the company; intellectual capital; the degree of innovation; customer loyalty and brand awareness; quality and novelty of products; companyβs contribution to the socio-economic development of the country and regions where it is presented. Control of non-financial factors requires developing a system of controlled indicators. This is an advanced research direction of the topic.Π Π°ΡΠΏΡΠΎΡΡΡΠ°Π½Π΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅ Π±ΠΈΠ·Π½Π΅Ρ-ΡΡΡΡΠΊΡΡΡ, ΠΎΡΠ³Π°Π½ΠΈΠ·ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π½ΡΡ

GIZh-290 is a new derivative of 4-phenylpyrrolidone, based on the structures of racetams that combine anticonvulsant and nootropic effects. The method of high-performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometric detection was developed and validated for the quantitative determination of a new potential anticonvulsant compound GIZh-290 in rat blood plasma. For the extraction of the analyte, liquid-liquid extraction with diethyl ether was used. The method was validated based on its selectivity, linearity, accuracy, precision, and stability. The linearity of the method was confirmed by a high correlation coefficient of 0.999. The percent recovery of GIZh-290 from blood plasma was 79.2 %. The intra- and inter-batch accuracy were 19.32 and 12.14 %. Β It was found that blood plasma samples containing GIZh-290 can be stored at ambient temperature during the working day.ΠΠΠ-290 β Π½ΠΎΠ²ΠΎΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΠΈΠ·Π²ΠΎΠ΄Π½ΠΎΠ΅ 4-ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠ»ΠΏΠΈΡΡΠΎΠ»ΠΈΠ΄ΠΎΠ½Π°, ΡΠΈΠ½ΡΠ΅Π·ΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Π½ΠΎΠ΅ Π½Π° ΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠ²Π΅ ΡΠ°ΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΠΌΠΎΠ², ΡΠΎΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΡΡΠΈΡ

Delay-induced chaos in catalytic surface reactions
Deterministic chaos related to a sequence of period-doubling bifurcations (the Feigenbaumtransition) has been observed in the NO1+CO and NO+H2 reactions on Pt(100). On a microscopicscale, these reactions are accompanied by the formation of 1X1 adsorbate islands due to theproperties of the 1X1βhex phase transition of Pt(100). A simple skeleton model is constructed thatdescribes the behavior of a population of reacting islands which are globally coupled together viathe gas phase. Investigations of this model show that the experimentally observed chaotic behaviorcan result from delays in the response of the reacting islands to partial pressure variations in the gasphase
Modern Understanding of Internal Financial Control: Problems and Perspectives of Investigation
The analytical review of national and foreign approaches to the internal financial control is presented in this paper. The examination of existing approaches enabled to define the internal financial control as one of the management spheres within the economic entity, which provides the efficient achievement of goals and is realized by constructing a system of interrelated elements. Nevertheless the key moments of the notion specification are its aims and objectives, which vary depending on the nature of business, its scale and the levels of internal financial control realization. The authorsβ understanding of demarcation of different financial control designations was noted as one of the conclusions. For instance, it seems necessary to divide such determinations as internal and corporate control as far as the corporate control category covers only some of the objects of internal financial control that limits the scope of its use. The article also touches upon the demarcation between the concepts of financial control, controlling, and internal audit. The authors determine the internal financial control as one of the key areas of practical implementation of controlling tasks and objectives. According to the hierarchy of concepts presented in the article, internal audit serves as the main tool of internal financial control. The emerging role of system and value-based approach, the necessity of industry and structure characteristics consideration during the process of internal financial control system development, the introduction of a new perspective direction of strategy financial control are pointed out as the main tendencies of internal financial control investigation. The undertaken analysis of existing approaches allowed forming a strong theoretical basis for the examination of practical aspects of internal financial control development and determining the key directions of the investigation
Tonality of Showing Russian Position in English Speaking Mass Media during Sanction Period
Highly charged political environment, which is peculiar to the current stage of international relationsΒ development, is accompanied by an extensive media war. The problem of showing Russia onΒ the negative side in international press wasΒ known and discussed since early 2000-s. Russian-Ukrainian conflict which started atΒ the end of 2013 β beginning of 2014 provokedΒ foreign mass media to make a point of Russia and enhance the quantity of adverse statements towards the country. It seems that theΒ aim of foreign mass media is to form an antagonistic image of Russia among the audience. The research under discussion is devoted to the problem ofΒ the sentiment of showingΒ Russia in English speaking mass media underΒ the influence of Russia sanctions. News textsΒ for period from 2012 till 2018 were analyzed. The whole period was divided into several stages: the firstΒ stage is connected with period before sanctions; the others reflect different phases of restrictionsβ imposition.Β The authors suggested that foreign mass media is inclined to show Russia on the negative side irrespective ofΒ the contents of political situationΒ during the sanctions period. To approve thisΒ statement a detailed text analysis was provided to find out the following indicators: the total quantity of news, connected with Russia,Β in the stated period; the quantity of positiveΒ and negative words. It was found out that theΒ sanctions imposition provoked the increaseΒ of total Russia media hits, but the increase ofΒ negative words was higher than the increaseΒ of positive words. Reviewing the contest ofΒ news from the perspective of correlation between the words showed that Russia-Ukrainian conflictΒ theme lost its significance, but theΒ total level of enmity in news text remainedΒ the same and even has the tendency of increasing in line with the other political events
