    Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) di Pembibitan Utama yang Diberi Trichokompos dengan Dosis yang Berbeda

    The aim of this research is to determine the effect of application of Trichocompost and to get the best dosage on the growth of young oil palm plants in main nursery stage. The research was conducted at the experimental unit of Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau from May to August 2014. This researchwas arranged experimentally using Completely Randomized Design(CRD), consistins of5 treatment sandeach treatment repeated 3times. The treatments are dosage of Trichocompost: without application Trichocompost (T0), application Trichocompost 25 g/polybag (T1), 50 g/polybag (T2), 75 g/polybag (T3), and 100 g/polybag (T4). Data were analyzed statistically using ANOVA and followedby DNMRT at level of 5%. Parameters measured were :the increase of plants height, increase of leaves number, increase of hump diameter, root width ratio and plants dry weight. The research results showed that the application of Trichocompost significantly effectedon all observed parameters, except on the increase of leaves number of young oil palm plants seeds in main nursery stage. application Trichocompost with dosage of 75-100 g/polybag is the best to improve growth of young oil palm plant in main nursery stage

    Penerapan Advanced Pid Tuning Pada Plant Yang Critically Stable: Height Levitation Pingpong Ball

    PID controller is the most popular feedback controller in industry. It has been known that PID controller is capable to provide a good control performance despite having a simple algorithm and easy to understand. However, the most common problem of using this control system is that it is difficult to stipulate the most appropriate constants to each controller or tuning. This project implemented advanced PID tuning which involves several tuning methods to acquire best performance on system or plant which is volatile or critically stable such as controlling height levitation pingpong ball. The tuning methods used and compared were Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) and Chien-Hrones-Reswick (CHR). Tuning process and monitoring were performed in real time using Simulink-Arduino. Based on experimental result, CHR method gave better performance compared to ZN method. ZN resulted in overshoot, rise time, settling time, and steady state error of 48%, 0.85s, 3.8s, and ±2cm respectively, while CHR method resulted in overshoot, rise time, settling time, and steady state error of 14%, 1.15s, 1.4s, and ±1cm respectively

    Palm oil (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) is a crop plantation were a high economic value because it is a vegetable oil plant. In Indonesia, oil palm is important to increasing the country's income and able to improve people's fare well, especially in Riau Province. The study aimed to examine the effect of formulations liquid organic fertilizer contain active Bacillus sp. and get the best formulations on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq). The research was conducted in Quarantine Laboratory, Pekanbaru and in the technical implementation unit of agriculture faculty of Riau University, in April until to October 2013. The methods of research is experimentally with using randomized block design (RBD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The data were analyzed statistically with using analysis of variance and followed by Duncan's New Multiple Range Test at level α = 5%. The parameters measured were increase of seedling height, increase of the number of midrib, increase of circle stem, seedling root volume, root crown ratio and dry weight of plants. The results of the research showing that all treatment of formulations Bacillus sp. were tested has non significant effect on all parameters of observation. Formulations of Bacillus sp. with coconut water is the best formulation in increasing of palm oil seedling height and the tendency towards in increase of number of the midrib and plant dry weight

    Pengakuan kinerja profesi dalam bentuk sertifikat pendidik tidaksaja memvonis seorang guru mumpuni diatas segalanya, tetapi jugamembuat arogansi tersendiri. Pengakuan sebagai agen pembelajaranyang profesional memang hanya bergantung pada selembarpenghargaan sertifikat pendidik.Permusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakahdeskripsi pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru fisika pascasertifikasi di kota Semarang ? Bagaimanakah model pengembanganguru fisika pasca sertifikasi di kota Semarang ? Tujuan yang akandicapai pada penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaranpengembangan kompetensi profesional guru fisika pasca sertifikasi dikota Semarang.Model pengembangan guru pasca sertifikasi dilakukan denganmenggunakan model Jigsaw yang tergambar dalam skema kegiatanMGMP, dilengkapi dengan sintaks, alokasi waktu dan monitoringserta pengawasan. Uji ahli dan praktisi sebanyak 6 orang. 1 orangmenyatakan model berada dalam kriteria sangat baik (1 orang daritim ahli), 4 orang menyatakan baik (1 tim ahli , 3 praktisi), dan 1orang dari tim praktisi menyatakan cukup. Berdasarkan uji ahli danpraktisi tersebut maka model ini dapat diimnplementasikan dalamkegiatan MGMP. Oleh karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya maka ujicoba dan implementasi tidak dapat dilaksanakan.?é?

    Aplikasi Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Dan Zeolit Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.)

    Plant oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is one of commodity plantation in Riau as a source of vegetable oil. In order to increase the production of the necessary good breeding. Seedling growth is strongly influenced by the availability of nutrients, so it takes fertilization. Fertilizers used are Palm Oil Mill Effluent (LCPKS). LCPKS contains nutrients that can be absorbed by plants. LCPKS has the disadvantage that volatile, so it need a way to overcome that problem. One solution that is used is the granting of Zeolite. Zeolite is able to bind nutrients that are available in a long time for plants. This research aims to get the best treatment on the growth of oil palm seedlings. Research conducted at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This research has been going on for three months starting from February to April 2015. The research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial. The first factor is the Palm Oil Mill Effluent with 3 levels consisting of 0 ml, 195 ml and 390 ml. The second factor is a Zeolite with 3 levels consisting of 0 g, 50 g and 100 g. The combination is repeated 4 times so that there are 36 units of trial and each experimental unit consisted of two plants, so the total is 72 plants. Parameters measured were seedling high accretion (cm), number of leaves (pieces), stem diameter (cm), root volume (ml), the ratio of crown roots, and seedling dry weight (g). Statistical analysis using ANOVA followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test at 5%. The results showed that there was no interaction LCPKS and Zeolite on all parameters of observation. Combination of LCPKS 390 ml and 50 g zeolites tend to produce the best growth on the parameters in the number of leaves, stem diameter and root volume
