    Fast Approximate KK-Means via Cluster Closures

    KK-means, a simple and effective clustering algorithm, is one of the most widely used algorithms in multimedia and computer vision community. Traditional kk-means is an iterative algorithm---in each iteration new cluster centers are computed and each data point is re-assigned to its nearest center. The cluster re-assignment step becomes prohibitively expensive when the number of data points and cluster centers are large. In this paper, we propose a novel approximate kk-means algorithm to greatly reduce the computational complexity in the assignment step. Our approach is motivated by the observation that most active points changing their cluster assignments at each iteration are located on or near cluster boundaries. The idea is to efficiently identify those active points by pre-assembling the data into groups of neighboring points using multiple random spatial partition trees, and to use the neighborhood information to construct a closure for each cluster, in such a way only a small number of cluster candidates need to be considered when assigning a data point to its nearest cluster. Using complexity analysis, image data clustering, and applications to image retrieval, we show that our approach out-performs state-of-the-art approximate kk-means algorithms in terms of clustering quality and efficiency

    目的  总结CT引导经皮穿刺置管局部化疗治疗脊柱结核的护理经验。方法  针对本院自2009—2012年的39例行CT引导经皮穿刺置管局部化疗的脊柱结核患者,制定全面的术前、术后护理计划,并实施相应的护理,总结围手术期及带管期间护理经验。结果  本组患者均顺利渡过围手术期,无脱管、堵管、断管、感染等并发症,随访18个月(12~24个月)结核无复发。结论  全面合理的护理措施能够避免患者的并发症,有利于患者早日康复。Objective: To summarize CT guided percutaneous puncture catheter local chemotherapy nursing experience for the treatment of spinal tuberculosis. Methods: In our hospital from 2009-2012 of 39 routine CT guided percutaneous puncture catheter local chemotherapy of patients with spinal tuberculosis, comprehensive preoperative and postoperative nursing plan, and implement of the corresponding nursing, summarize nursing experience during perioperative with tube. Results: This group of patients are through perioperative period, no sign of taking off the tube and blocking pipe, tube, complications such as infection presented, 18 months of follow-up (12 ~ 24 months) without relapse tuberculosis. Conclusion:Comprehensive and reasonable nursing measures to avoid the complications of patients, help patients recover at an early date.

    目的  总结胸椎结核经胸腔病灶清除植骨内固定的围手术期护理经验。方法  针对本院自2005—2011年的32例经胸腔病灶清除植骨内固定手术的胸椎结核患者,制定全面的术前、术后护理计划,并实施相应的护理,总结围手术期护理经验。结果  本组患者均顺利度过围手术期,无围手术期并发症,随访18个月(12~24个月)结核无复发。结论  全面合理的围手术期护理措施能够避免患者的并发症,有利于患者早日康复。Objective: To summarize thoracic spinal tuberculosis by chest lesions cleared the perioperative nursing experience of bone graf.     Two-dimensional thermoelastic contact problem of functionally graded materials involving frictional heating

    AbstractThe two-dimensional thermoelastic sliding frictional contact of functionally graded material (FGM) coated half-plane under the plane strain deformation is investigated in this paper. A rigid punch is sliding over the surface of the FGM coating with a constant velocity. Frictional heating, with its value proportional to contact pressure, friction coefficient and sliding velocity, is generated at the interface between the punch and the FGM coating. The material properties of the coating vary exponentially along the thickness direction. In order to solve the heat conduction equation analytically, the homogeneous multi-layered model is adopted for treating the graded thermal diffusivity coefficient with other thermomechanical properties being kept as the given exponential forms. The transfer matrix method and Fourier integral transform technique are employed to convert the problem into a Cauchy singular integral equation which is then solved numerically to obtain the unknown contact pressure and the in-plane component of the surface stresses. The effects of the gradient index, Peclet number and friction coefficient on the thermoelastic contact characteristics are discussed in detail. Numerical results show that the distribution of the contact stress can be altered and therefore the thermoelastic contact damage can be modified by adjusting the gradient index, Peclet number and friction coefficient
