THE KINEMATIC DIFFERENCES IN THE GLIDE KIP ON HORIZONTAL BAR BETWEEN THE ELITE GYMNAST AND STUDENTS
The bar is one of the most attractive gymnastic disciplines that abound with elements of varying degrees of difficulty. The glide kip represents one part of the choreography of movements that the gymnast should master to the highest level in order to achieve as successful a transition as possible to other more complex elements. 2D kinematical analysis has the potential to objectively register the planar movements and thatβs why the purpose of this research was to use this method to determine and compare the kinematic characteristics of the element in gymnasts and students. The research shows very similar results in the angular displacement in the hip joint and the difference in the angular velocity. Also, students show a different direction of swinging with their legs in the fourth phase. Regarding the time characteristics, the gymnasts and the students have different time duration but a very similar rhythm of movement. The largest difference is the angular displacement and the angular velocity in the knee joint. The obtained results can serve as a benchmark for the key elements of the movement which are important for a successful performance of the element and where instructions should be targeted during learning and improving the element in such a sample of respondents.Β Article visualizations
Alteration of Cytokines Level and Oxidative Stress Parameters in COVID-19
In addition to the proinflammatory state, cytokine production, and cell death, SARS-CoV-2 infection is also associated with oxidative stress as demonstrated by increase in reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels and an alteration of antioxidant defense during the infection. Proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines play an important role in respiratory infections caused by viruses including SARS-CoV-2 by activation of the adaptive immune response. In case when the response is not controlled, it can lead to lung tissue involvement in the course of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) or can result in multiple organ failure. Oxidative stress markers show good correlation with several cytokines, which can be measured at the beginning of the disease in a primary care setting to predict the course of COVID-19
Interplay between lymphocyte subpopulation, inflammatory cytokines and their correlation with oxidative stress parameters in COVID-19
Our objective was to investigate the inflammatory and oxidative stress markers in patients with moderate and severe form of COVID-19. In addition, we show the correlation between changes in lymphocyte subsets and markers of oxidative stress as a tool for patient classification. IL-6 and VEGF were analysed by utilizing a High Sensitivity Evidence Investigatorβ’ Biochip Array technology. The total antioxidant capacity (PAT) and the free radical concentrations (d-ROM) were measured in serum utilizing analytical photometric system FRAS5. Peripheral blood was used to determine CD45 + mononuclear, B, T, and NK cells using a multi-parameter flow cytometric immunophenotypic test.
Statistically significant differences in IL-6 and VEGF levels were observed between the two patient groups. Decreased values of the absolute number of lymphocytes and their CD4 + and CD8 + positive T cells, NK cells, and CD8 were obtained. In the moderate group, good correlations were found between IL-6 and VEGF and NK cells (r = 0.6973, p <0.05; for IL6 and r = 0.6498, p <0, for VEGF. 05). Cytokines were correlated with CD45+ (r = 0.5610, p <0.05; for IL-6 and r = 0.5462, p <0.05 for VEGF). The oxidative stress index can be used as a cheaper alternative and as a triage tool between severe and moderate illnesses, after showing good correlation with more expensive patient classification analysis

SUCESSFUL PERFORMANCE OF THE GYMNASTICS ELEMENT NECK OR HEAD SPRING ON THE FLOOR IN RELATION TO THE ANTHROPOMETRIS, MOTOR AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS
For the scope of this research, many other researches have been done with the participation of 143 male students from the Faculty of Physical Education, Sport and Health in Skopje, Macedonia. By doing 17 anthropometric measures, 29 motor tests and 8 helping tests to recognize the psychological characteristics, the structure of this element is analyzed by the three important tests that we mentioned them earlier and the successful technical performance of this element, the neck or head spring on the floor. There are three anthropometric dimensions, eight motor factors and five psychological factors with analysis of the motor placement. A regressive analysis is used to define the relations between the isolated factors. From the used regressive analysis where the anthropometric system, system of motor factors and the system of psychological factors are used as predictors. The main criterium is the performance of the gymnastic element the neck or head spring on the floor while the predictors show important influence on the criterion. Many isolated factors of the three subspaces: morphological, motor and psychological influence the criterion.Β Article visualizations
