Monitoramento bioclimático utilizando dados do NOAA

This paper describes the program's results of clouds discrimination, atmospheric and geometric corrections to be used in statistic models to estimate evapotranspiration with NOAA 9 satellite data in the Mato Grosso do Sul area. The correlations of the potential evapotranspiration measured in soils with remote data were sufficiently good enhancing the possibility of monitoring using this kinf of models. In these correlations remote parameters were used in real time and with lag.Pages: 116-11

Analise de quadrante aplicada a flutuacoes turbulentas acima do Pantanal (estacao seca). II Metodo de Caramori

In this work we use the Quadrant Analysis, proposed by Caramori, to understand how the contributions of turbulent fluctuations of sensible heat and moment fluxes, one distributed through quadrants, for different atmospheric stability conditions, above Pantanal Matogrossense, in the dry season. The results indicate that quadrant contributions for sensible heat flux behaves differently from the ones for moment for flux.Pages:

Analise de quadrante aplicada a flutuacoes turbulentas acima do Pantanal (estacao seca). I Metodo de Katul, variabilidade em funcao da estabilidade atmosferica

The Quadrant Analysis (method of Katul) is applied to investigate the variability of the so-called turbulent ejections and sweeps phenomena under different atmospheric stability conditions. Sensible heat and momentum flux measured at a height 25.26 m on a tower in Pantanal Matogrossense were studied. The results agree partially with those of Katul in the sense that the duration of sweeps depends on the stability conditions. But this does not happen with the duration of ejections.Pages:

Projeto Interdisciplinar do Pantanal - Fase Umida (IPE-1)

A field campaign was carried out in the South Mato Grosso Pantanal, as part of a broad experimental program to study the characteristics of the weather and the climate of the central region of Brazil. The aim of this experiment is to investigate the structure of the surface boundary layer above the Pantanal, during the flood season, in a site representative of the region (19°33'48" S; 57°00'53"W), located about 1.5 km from the Pantanal Studies Base of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), in Passo do Lontra, MS.Pages:
