Leptogenesis and dark matter detection in a TeV scale neutrino mass model with inverted mass hierarchy

Realization of the inverted hierarchy is studied in the radiative neutrino mass model with an additional doublet, in which neutrino masses and dark matter could be induced from a common particle. We show that the sufficient baryon number asymmetry is generated through resonant leptogenesis even for the case with rather mild degeneracy among TeV scale right-handed neutrinos. We also discuss the relation between this neutrino mass generation mechanism and low energy experiments for the DM direct search, the neutrinoless double β\beta decay and so on.Comment: 25 pages, 5 figures, title changed, figures replaced and added, discussion on DM direct search extended, conclusions unchanged, published versio

Lepton number asymmetry via inflaton decay in a modified radiative seesaw model

We propose a non-thermal scenario for the generation of baryon number asymmetry in a radiative neutrino mass model which is modified to realize inflation at the early Universe. In this scenario, inflaton plays a crucial role in both generation of neutrino masses and lepton number asymmetry. Lepton number asymmetry is firstly generated in the dark matter sector through direct decay of inflaton. It is transferred to the lepton sector via the dark matter annihilation and then converted to the baryon number asymmetry due to the sphaleron interaction. All of the neutrino masses, the baryon number asymmetry and the dark matter are intimately connected to each other through the inflaton.Comment: 26 pages, 3 figure

Inflation in a modified radiative seesaw model

The existence of the inflationary era in the early Universe seems to be strongly supported by recent CMB observations. However, only a few realistic inflation scenarios which have close relation to particle physics seem to have been known unfortunately. The radiative neutrino mass model with inert doublet dark matter is a promising model for the present experimental issues which cannot be explained within the standard model. In order to make the model include inflation, we extend it by a complex scalar field with a specific potential. This scalar could be closely related to the neutrino mass generation at a TeV scale as well as inflation. We show that the inflation favored by the CMB observations could be realized even if inflaton takes sub-Planck values during inflation.Comment: 20 pages, 3 figure

Two Loop Neutrino Model with Dark Matter and Leptogenesis

We study a two-loop induced radiative neutrino model at TeV scale with global U(1)U(1) symmetry, in which we analyze dark matter and resonant leptogenesis. The model includes two kinds of dark matter candidates. We discuss what kind of dark matter can satisfy the observed relic density as well as the current direct detection bound, and be simultaneously compatible with the leptogenesis. We also discuss whether our resonant leptogenesis can be differentiated from the other scenarios at TeV scale or not.Comment: 21 pages, 7 figures, version to appear in IJMP
