    Analysis Water Availability and Water Balance in Irrigation Areas Rintau, District Sekayam

    Population growth in Indonesia is increasing every year, resulting in an increasing need for food. To support maximum agricultural yields every year, irrigation is needed as well as the availability and demand for water for irrigation. water discharge to irrigate the fields. DI Rintau has decreased along with a decrease in the function of the water catchment area due to the existence of several soil channels, which can increase the possibility of seepage or infiltration and increase water loss. The purpose of this research is to analyze the availability and balance of water in DI Rintau. The method used to calculate water availability is using the mock method. analysis of water availability in the Rintau Irrigation Area using the Mock method, obtained a maximum reliable discharge of 707,512 l/s, namely in the first half of December, the minimum reliable discharge is 114,200 l/s, namely in the first half of September and the mainstay discharge is an average of 402,619 l/sec. Water balance analysis in the Rintau Irrigation Area, water demand is not met or there is a water shortage (deficit) in the first half of August, which is 205,201 l/s

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang menunjukan kemampuan menyimak siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mekarsari yang hanya mencapai nilai rata-rata 55 dalam tes kemampuan menyimak. Sedangkan Standar Kemampuan Minimal untuk mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia adalah 65. Hal tersebut disebabakan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya, guru kurang tepat memilih metode, materi yang disampaikan kurang menarik, dan siswa kurang memahami perbendaharaan kata dalam bahasa Indonesia. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyimak dengan menggunakan metode bercerita, (2) mengetahui aaktivitas pembelajaran menyimak melalui penggunaan metode bercerita, dan (3) memperoleh gambaran hasil menyimak siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mekarsari setelah menggunakan metode bercerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Elliot, yang disusun secara berdaur dalam tiap siklusnya yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pemantauan, dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini menyangkut prilaku siswa kelas V sebanyak 28 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar catatan lapangan,lembar observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi hasil dipokuskan pada hasil kemampuan menyimak siswa setelah pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Pelaksanaanpembelajaran menyimak dengan metode bercerita pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mekarsari ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari satu tindakan. Setiap tindakan pembelajaran dipokuskan pada menceritakan kembali isi cerita. Evaluasi hasil pelaksanaan tindakan siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas 72. Pelaksanaan tindakan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas 79. Pelaksanaan tindakan siklus III memperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas 86. Evaluasi hasil pelaksanaan tindakan tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai siswa pada setiap siklusnya

    This research is a class action research. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics in grade X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru by applying the Discovery Learning model. The subject of this research were the students in the class X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru that consist of 19 boys and 21 girls at the second semester of academic year 2016/2017. Implementation of the learning process before held action, there is a problem of learning that is still focused on the teacher so that students can not find the concept of learning. To solve this problem requires a learning model where students can actively discover teir own learning concepts. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative, while the students\u27 mathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles and improve the students\u27 achievement of learning mathematic in grade X MIA 4 of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2016/2017

    The background of this study is the restrict of mathematics learning instruments as supporting learning referring to Curriculum 2013 and weak ability of teachers to develop the mathematics learning instruments corresponding with curriculum 2013. This study aimed to develop mathematics learning instruments based curriculum 2013 with approach mathematics learning Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on the material cubes and blocks for students of class VIII SMP/MTs. Learning instruments in this study are lesson plan, and the Student Activity Sheet. This study method used is 4D model by Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel that consist of define, design, development, and disseminate, but the study was limited only to development step. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that the study of mathematics is very valid to the average ratings for the lesson plan is 3.71 and the average ratings for the student activity sheet is 3.69. This student worksheet has also reached the practical qualification with mean percentage of student responses 97% in the small group trial and 97% in the large group trial

    This research was based on ability of understanding mathematical. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical students in class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang by the implementation of the strategy Think-Talk-Write (TTW). This research is a class action research consist of two cycles. The subject of this research were the students of class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang that consist of 19 boys and 11 girls. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheet, students mathematical understanding of first ability tests and students mathematical understanding of ability tests. The results of this research showed the activity of teacher and students performing well according to plan. Most students look to actively participate in the learning process. Based on data analysis ability of understanding mathematical students in classical class VII4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang, obtained an average value ability of understanding mathematical students in the classical style on the first cycle is higher than the average value on first tests ability of understanding mathematical students and the average value ability of understanding mathematical students classically on the second cycle is higher than the average value in first cycle. Average value ability of understanding mathematical students classical students has increased from the first tests to the first cycle of 13.89. The average value ability of understanding mathematical students classical has increased from the first cycle to the second cycle at 5.46. It shows ability of understanding mathematical students with implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy is increased. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy can improve the learning process and improve ability of understanding mathematical of class VII4 of SMP Negeri 3 Tambang in the second semester academic years 2015/2016

    The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying the cooperative learning technique of jingling studs. The research is classroom action research (PTK) that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016, there are 36 students in the class, consist of 17 boys and 19 girls. Data collecting through observation and written test. The observation was doing for the observation of learning activity of teacher and students, of student's attitude and of student's skill. While written test which in daily test form was doing to evaluate student's knowledge.Base on the result of analysis, the percentage of students passing the Minimun Completeness Criteria (MCC) on base score, daily test I (first cycle), daily test II (second cycle) were respectively 16,76%, 66,67%, and 75%. The percentage of MCC achievement also indicates the increase after the implementation, thus it can be said that the students' learning outcomes also increase. The result of research conclude that applying the cooperative learning technique of jingling studs can improves the learning process and improves mathematics achievement of VIII5 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016
