Multimedia teaching aid to laboratory tasks on analog communication training setup

The paper presents new multimedia guide primarily created for Master distance curriculum at Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Czech Republic, to ease the work on analog communication training setup in the laboratory of communication and signal processing. PROMAX company manufactured the analog communication training setup in Spain, and the devices of the setup are described in the original documentation in English and Spanish together with the printed version of the labs that could be performed on this setup, also in English and Spanish. Since the students of the given distance curriculum should focus on the practical exercises of the communication, the necessity of creating such teaching aid appeared. The paper describes the communication setup and the created labs that could be performed on it, the created teaching aid and the way how it was created. Finally, there is the students' evaluation of the teaching aid in the form of the questionnaire. © 2018 IEEE
