Analysis of the Levels of Learning Information Mastering by Students of the "Digital Generation" At the Beginning of Studying Biochemistry

В статье изучены уровни усвоения «узнавание и знание» учебного материала двух тем в начале изучения дисциплины биохимия в четырех группах студентов медицинского университета. Использован метод анкетирования. Все вопросы анкет ранее обсуждалисьв изученных темах на занятиях. В анкете на выявление знания (анкета № 1) были предложены 10 вопросов без ответов. Студенты должны были самостоятельно вписать ответ. В анкете на узнавание (анкета № 2) были предложены те же 10 вопросов, но с 5 вариантами ответов, один из которых верный. Каждый студент последовательно под одним и тем же личным номером отвечал на вопросы анкеты № 1, а потом на вопросы анкеты № 2. Не смогли самостоятельно составить правильные ответы 85,5 %участников обследования, и 61,5 % узнать из предложенных вариантов правильные ответы, и этим подтвердили неустойчивость полученных знаний. Ранее при проведении планового электронного тестирования эти студенты получили высокие баллы. Успешность усвоения тем составляла 90 % и 75 % правильных ответов (учитывались баллы выше 70 при максимальном значении 100). Обсуждаются возможные причины снижения качества усвоения учебного материала представителями «цифрового поколения»The article studied the levels of assimilation "recognition and knowledge" of the educational material of two topics at the beginning of the study of the discipline of biochemistry in four groups of students of the medical university. The method of questioning was used. All questions of the questionnaires were previously discussed in the studied topics in the classroom. In the questionnaire for the identification of knowledge (questionnaire No. 1), 10 questions were asked without answers. Students had to write their own answers. In the recognition questionnaire (questionnaire No. 2), the same 10 questions were asked, but with 5 possible answers, one of which is correct. Each student sequentially under the same personal number answered the questions of the questionnaire No. 1, and then the questions of the questionnaire No. 2. 85.5 % of the survey participants were unable to independently compose the correct answers, and 61.5 % learned the correct answers from the proposed options, and this confirmed the instability of the acquired knowledge. Earlier, during the planned electronic testing, these students received high scores. The success of mastering the topics was 90 % and 75 % of correct answers (points above 70 were taken into account with a maximum value of 100). Possible reasons for the decline in the quality of mastering educational material by representatives of the "digital generation" are discussed

The article considers the results of self –assessment of adolescent girls health and factors of living space. 75% consider themselves healthy, 45% never cry, 50% are always in the air; 63% feel comfortable in school. A direct correlation of medium strength was found in the pairs "I get enough sleep/ I willingly do my homework", "I play on the phone/ I have a headache". Adverse signals in the formation of adolescent health are lack of sleep, headache, and difficult relationships with school.В статье рассмотрены результаты самооценки девочек – подростков здоровья и факторов жизненного пространства. Считают себя здоровыми 75%, никогда не плачут 45%, всегда бывают на воздухе 50%; комфортно ощущают себя в школе 63%. Средней силы прямая корреляция выявлена в парах «высыпаюсь / охотно делаю уроки», «играю в телефон/ болит голова». Неблагоприятными сигналами в формировании здоровья подростков являются недостаток сна, головная боль, и сложные отношения со школой

Possibility of managing the educational process in biochemistry in the medical higher education institution for preventive predictive events

The initial level of knowledge in biology and chemistry of 2 nd year students was studied before starting the study of biochemistry. Included questions that test knowledge of the concepts and properties of compounds of the human body. The high school ranking of the exam in chemistry in comparison with biology significantly increases the survival of knowledge, respectively, the correct answers (39.3 ± 9.3)% and (34.8 ± 7)%. Students who received excellent marks on the chemistry exam at the 1st year at the Ural State Medical University had a significantly higher performance compared to the rest: the chemistry grade at school, the number of correct answers when studying the level of knowledge, and in the first midterm control on biochemistry on Enzymes. The obtained data allows planning preventive pedagogical actions with an emphasis on the chemical component of the complex discipline «Biological chemistry».Исследован исходный уровень знаний по биологии и химии студентов 2 курса перед началом изучения биохимии. Включены вопросы, проверяющие знание понятий и свойств соединений организма человека. Высокий школьный рейтинг по химии в сравнении с биологией достоверно увеличивает выживаемость знаний, соответственно правильных ответов (39.3 ± 9.3) % и (34.8 ±7)%. Студенты, получившие на 1 курсе в УГМУ оценку отлично на экзамене по химии, достоверно имели по сравнению с остальными более высокие все показатели: рейтинг по химии в школе, количество правильных ответов при исследовании уровня знаний и в первом рубежном контроле по биохимии на тему «Ферменты». Полученные данные позволяют планировать предупреждающие педагогические действия с акцентом на химическую составляющую комплексной дисциплины «Биологическая химия»

The motivation of studying the discipline "Clinical biochemistry" 1st year students of dental faculty

The motivations given about level when studying discipline are presented in article “Clinical biochemistry” by students of 1 course of stomatologic faculty. Anonymous questioning of students prior to studying of discipline demonstrates sufficient vocational guidance and level of motivation (point of 4.28 of 5,0) already on 1 course. The importance of the disciplinary module “Clinical Biochemical Trials in practice of the Dentist (an Oral Cavity Disease)” got an assessment 4.3 points.В статье представлены данные об уровне мотивации при изучении дисциплины «Клиническая биохимия» студентами 1 курса стоматологического факультета. Анонимное анкетирование студентов до начала изуче- ния дисциплины свидетельствует о достаточной профессиональной ориентации и уровне мотивации (балл 4,28 из 5,0) уже на 1 курсе. Значимость дисциплинарного модуля «Клинические биохимические исследова- ния в практике врача-стоматолога (заболевания полости рта)» получила оценку 4,3 балла

Research of using chewing tobacco among young population and risk assessment of dental health disorders

This article discusses questionnaires of the 307 people on social networks about using of chewing tobacco. 84 of them answered positively (of which men - 67.1%). According to the observations of the respondents themselves, 70.24% of them noted changes in dental health. 48.8% (41 answers) of them noted pain in places of tobacco retention; 27.4% (23 answers) - salivation; 14.3% (12 answers) - sores; 13.1% (11 answers) - saliva became viscous; 11.9% (10 answers) - redness of the mucosa.В статье проведено обсуждение анкетного опроса в социальных сетях об употреблении жевательного табака. Из 307 человек 84 человека ответили положительно (из них мужчины – 67,1%). Изменения со стороны стоматологического здоровья по наблюдениям самих респондентов испытывают 70,24%. Среди опрошенных 48,8% (41 ответ) отметили боль в местах удерживания табака; 27,4% (23 ответа) – повышенное слюноотделение; 14,3% (12ответов) – язвочки; 13,1% (11ответов) – слюна стала вязкой; 11,9% (10ответов) – покраснение слизистой оболочки полости рт
