Intertwining Operators for a Degenerate Double Affine Hecke Algebra and Multivariable Orthogonal Polynomials
Operators that intertwine representations of a degenerate version of the
double affine Hecke algebra are introduced. Each of the representations is
related to multi-variable orthogonal polynomials associated with
Calogero-Sutherland type models. As applications, raising operators and shift
operators for such polynomials are constructed.Comment: 26 pages, LaTeX using epsf.sty, one figur
Dressing method and the coupled KP hierarchy
The coupled KP hierarchy, introduced by Hirota and Ohta, are investigated by
using the dressing method. It is shown that the coupled KP hierarchy can be
reformulated as a reduced case of the 2-component KP hierarchy.Comment: 11 pages, LaTeX, no figure
Yang-Baxter maps and the discrete KP hierarchy
We present a systematic construction of the discrete KP hierarchy in terms of SatoâWilson-type shift operators. Reductions of the equations in this hierarchy to 1+1-dimensional integrable lattice systems are considered, and the problems that arise with regard to the symmetry algebra underlying the reduced systems as well as the ultradiscretizability of these systems are discussed. A scheme for constructing ultradiscretizable reductions that give rise to YangâBaxter maps is explained in two explicit examples
A Study of Brand Recall in Thailand
Sales revenues of Japanese corporations abroad have been surpassing those of the domestic markets since 2013. Of all the countries in the world, Asian countries showed the fastest growth between 2000 and 2015. In addition, of these Asian countries, Japanese subsidiaries in Thailand showed the highest profits. In order to cope with the coming deflation led by the aging population of Japan, now more than ever, Japanese companies including small and medium companies must focus on foreign markets. Taking into consideration the developments mentioned above, this research focuses on brand recall using a sample of Thai subjects to answer questions on the brand name which first comes to mind when referencing various industries. The questionnaire survey was conducted using a sample of 153 participants, namely students of Assumption University in Thailand and their parents from October to November 2017. The results demonstrate a new trend, that of a greater interest in Japanese cultural activities including experiencing food and restaurants, visiting tourist destinations, and experiencing the âjust-in-timeâ service lead by convenience stores. This would be a breakthrough opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Japan. This is because SMEs are good at cultural exports, including tourism, restaurants, foods, apparel, and cosmetics
Solutions to the KP hierarchy with an elliptic background
A class of "elliptic soliton" solutions of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili
hierarchy, which includes a determinantal solution of Li and Zhang, is
described in terms of pseudo-differential operator formulation. In our
approach, the Li-Zhang solution is obtained by repeatedly applying the Darboux
transformation to a stationary solution. Real-valued solutions are discussed
and various examples that display web-like patterns are presented.Comment: 31 pages, 6 figure
