Finite ma corrections for sea quark matrix elements
We discuss the finite corrections associated with the computation of sea
quark matrix elements. We find them to differ from the standard normalization
used for valence quarks and to depend strongly on the Lorentz structure of the
current under consideration. Phenomenological implications of these results are
briefly discussed in two examples. We also mention how the magnitude of the

An Energy-Efficient Reconfigurable Circuit Switched Network-on-Chip
Network-on-Chip (NoC) is an energy-efficient on-chip communication architecture for multi-tile System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures. The SoC architecture, including its run-time software, can replace inflexible ASICs for future ambient systems. These ambient systems have to be flexible as well as energy-efficient. To find an energy-efficient solution for the communication network we analyze three wireless applications. Based on their communication requirements we observe that revisiting of the circuit switching techniques is beneficial. In this paper we propose a new energy-efficient reconfigurable circuit-switched Network-on-Chip. By physically separating the concurrent data streams we reduce the overall energy consumption. The circuit-switched router has been synthesized and analyzed for its power consumption in 0.13 ¿m technology. A 5-port circuit-switched router has an area of 0.05 mm2 and runs at 1075 MHz. Anomalous Hall effect as a probe of the chiral order in spin glasses
Anomalous Hall effect arising from the noncoplanar spin configuration
(chirality) is discussed as a probe of the chiral order in spin glasses. It is
shown that the Hall coefficient yields direct information about the linear and
nonlinear chiral susceptibilities of the spin sector, which has been hard to
obtain experimentally from the standard magnetic measurements. Based on the
chirality scenario of spin-glass transition, predictions are given on the
behavior of the Hall resistivity of canonical spin glasses.Comment: Order estimate of the effect given, one reference added. To appear in
