Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome with gonadohypoplasia:a rare case report
MRKH (Mayer Rokitansky Kuster Hauser) syndrome is a congenital abnormality seen in one out of 5,000 women characterized by the agenesis of the vagina, cervix, and uterus. It is also associated with kidney, bone and hearing difficulties. The ovaries are present with a normal function similar to that of a healthy reproductive woman’s by producing eggs and female hormones. Chromosomes are the normal 46xx female karyotype. We report this rare syndrome in a 26–year-old female where she had presented with complaints of absence of uterus with the absence of left kidney. She didn’t attain menarchy, secondary sexual characters are well developed. Small right ovarian follicular cyst with a rim of ovarian tissue was observed. She had undergone vaginoplasty
Study of Molecular Interactions in Binary Mixtures of Diethyl Carbonate + Benzene Derivatives at Different Temperatures
Investigation on the molecular interactions between binary mixtures containing diethyl carbonate in combination with nitrobenzene, chlorobenzene and aniline is presented. Ultrasonic velocity and density values were determined for the individual components as well as binary mixtures of the above benzene derivatives with diethyl carbonate at temperatures (293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15 and 323.15) K over the entire composition range. Further, adiabatic compressibility and acoustic impedance values were calculated using the experimental results. In addition to these parameters, the excess parameters like excess adiabatic compressibility, excess acoustic impedance and deviation in ultrasonic velocity were also obtained. Based on all these results, molecular interactions among the selected components were discussed
Unusual foaming along Thiruvananthapuram coast
Unusual foaming was observed on 18 and 19 October 2009 along the coast of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. A similar phenomenon was reported in 1999, which suggested that foaming in coastal waters of the Northern Adriatic, the English Channel and beaches of France, the Netherlands and Germany
was due to the mucilage formed from the extracellular polymeric substances
Ortho Linear Feedback Shift Register Cryptographic System
In this article, an encryption algorithm with an error detection technique is presented for highly secured reliable data transmission over unreliable communication channels. In this algorithm, an input data is mapped into orthogonal code first. After that the code is encrypted with the help of Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR). The technique has been successfully verified and synthesized using Xilinx by Spartan-3E FPGA. The results show that the error detection rate has been increased to 100% by proposed encryption scheme is effective and improves bandwidth efficiency

Analysing the Resourcefulness of the Paragraph for Precedence Retrieval
Developing methods for extracting relevant legal information to aid legal
practitioners is an active research area. In this regard, research efforts are
being made by leveraging different kinds of information, such as meta-data,
citations, keywords, sentences, paragraphs, etc. Similar to any text document,
legal documents are composed of paragraphs. In this paper, we have analyzed the
resourcefulness of paragraph-level information in capturing similarity among
judgments for improving the performance of precedence retrieval. We found that
the paragraph-level methods could capture the similarity among the judgments
with only a few paragraph interactions and exhibit more discriminating power
over the baseline document-level method. Moreover, the comparison results on
two benchmark datasets for the precedence retrieval on the Indian supreme court
judgments task show that the paragraph-level methods exhibit comparable
performance with the state-of-the-art methodsComment: 5 pages , 3 figures, ICAIL 202
Synthesis of Heteroaryl Urea Derivatives as Antimicrobial Agents
Azoles are prominent scaffolds in the pharmaceutical arena. In fact, medicinal properties of azole and benzazole containing compounds include anticancer, antimicrobial and antioxidant. Some of the drugs Inthomycin C, Oxaprozin, Tiazofurin, Dacarbazine, Tipifarnib, Albendazole, Febendazole, Omeprazole possess azole/benzazole moiety. Realizing the importance of azoles and benzazoles, it is planned to conjugate these two ligands as heteroaryl substituted urea derivatives and to study their antimicrobial activity. The results pertaining to these aspects will be discussed. © 2020 Author(s).The authors K. Narendra Babu and V. SELECTIVE CECAL BACTERIAL CHANGES MEDIATE THE ADVERSE EFFECTS ASSOCIATED WITH HIGH PALMOLEIN OR HIGH STARCH DIETS: PROPHYLACTIC ROLE OF FLAX OIL
Objective: Studies on the dynamics of gut bacteria in relation to metabolic adverse effects induced by high palmolein or high starch diets and in relation to health benefits of uncommon foods are lacking. Our aim was to assess under controlled conditions, the impact of vegetable based palmitic acid rich, high fat diet or a high starch diet on various metabolic parameters in relation to selective gut bacterial alterations in rats and also to see the effect of flaxseed oil supplementation on these parameters. Methods: Wistar Rats were fed for 4 mo either a control diet(CT) or a 30% high fat diet (HF) or HF diet with flax oil supplemented at two different doses (HFF1 and HFF2) or a 78% high starch diet (HC) after which they were sacrificed and analyzed for selective cecal bacteria, hematology, immune function and body composition. Results: High palmolein diet fed rats showed a decrease in colony forming units of lactobacillus, enterococci, streptococci bacteria and an increase in enterobacteriaceae in the cecum unlike HC fed rats. While high palmolein diet was found to impair immunity and increase inflammation, high starch diet affected body composition and lipid profile. Supplementing the flax seed oil ameliorated most of the adverse effects of high palmolein diet. Conclusions: Independent of energy intakes both high palmolein and high starch intakes have differential adverse effects. It can be envisaged that the adverse effects of feeding palmolein are mediated through immune impairment and inflammatory response, which in turn are associated with altered gut bacteria profile; and flax oil was found to have a prophylactic role in controlling these adverse effects. This study emphasizes the need to evaluate immunological as well as bacterial profile while assessing the safety of dietary fats in addition to traditional methods.Â
