The study aims to evaluate the influence of the ecological and geographical factors on the zinc content of light Hereford bulls and calculate the reference intervals for this metal. Lung samples weighing 100 g were taken from clinically healthy bulls of the Hereford breed in the Maslyaninsky, Novosibirsk and Krasnozersky districts of the Novosibirsk region and the Tselinny district of the Altai Territory. The chemical composition of lung tissues was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry with electrothermal atomization. The homoscedasticity of dispersions in groups was assessed using the Fligner-Keelin test. The influence of the factor was determined using the Kruskal-Wallisl test. Multiple intergroup comparisons were made using Dunnβs test and Holmβs correction. The maximum zinc level was found in animals bred in the Maslyaninsky district (26.6 mg/kg) and the minimum β in Krasnozersky (13.8 mg/kg). Cattle from the Maslyaninsky district are characterized by higher phenotypic variability in zinc content in the lungs than in other areas. Generally, the variability of the studied metal in the lungs of gobies is relatively low. Group variances in the zinc level in cattle lungs are homoscedastic (x2 =2.27; P=0.518). The influence of the ecological and geographical factors on the zinc level in Hereford cattleβs lungs was established (H = 12.158; P = 0.007). The concentration of metal in the lungs of bulls from the Krasnozersky district is statistically significantly different from cattle from Maslyaninsky (Z = -2.96; P = 0.009). There were no statistically significant differences in Zn concentration in lung tissues between animals from other regions. Reference intervals for the content of zinc in the lungs of Hereford cattle in the conditions of the south of Western Siberia are 12.44-24.12 mg/kg, with 90% confidence intervals for the lower limit of 10.15-13.66 mg/kg and the upper limit of 22.73 -26.49 mg/kg.Π¦Π΅Π»Ρ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ β ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡΡ Π²Π»ΠΈΡΠ½ΠΈΠ΅ ΡΠΊΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ-Π³Π΅ΠΎΠ³ΡΠ°ΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΡΠ°ΠΊΡΠΎΡΠ° Π½Π° ΡΠΎΠ΄Π΅ΡΠΆΠ°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ ΡΠΈΠ½ΠΊΠ° Π² Π»Π΅Π³ΠΊΠΈΡ

It is necessary to assess the state of nitrogen metabolism to deepen control over the usefulness of feeding cattle and ensure prompt response to nutritional imbalances and diet adjustments. Nitrogen balance is a key indicator of cattle metabolism. The authors presented the results of determining the content and variability of indicators of nitrogen metabolism in Holstein cattle in Western Siberia. The object of the study was the bulls of the Holstein breed, obtained from four sires in the conditions of industrial livestock enterprises in the West Siberian region. The authors also studied the main indicators of protein and non-protein nitrogen metabolism (using Vector-Best reagent kits): total protein, albumin, globulin, urea, creatinine, and uric acid. It was found that the indicators of total protein, albumin, globulins, urea, and uric acid were within the generally accepted boundaries of the physiological norm for cattle. However, the albumin-globulin coefficient was below the norm, and the creatinine level was above the physiological norm. The content of urea and creatinine and the albuminglobulin coefficient were characterized by the highest rates of variability, which indicates the heterogeneity of this population sample of Holstein cattle in terms of the peculiarities of the course of protein metabolism. The authors did not reveal statistically significant intergroup differences in the content of total protein (p = 0.67), albumin (p = 0.23), globulins (p = 0.87), albumin-globulin coefficient (p = 0.96) and urinary acids (p = 0.31) using the Kruskal-Wallis test. However, the authors established the influence of the father on the level of urea (p = 0.049) and creatinine (p = 0.042) in the blood serum of the offspring. The analysis of the protein gram and the level of uric acid in the blood serum of the offspring did not reveal significant differences in the influence of the father while differences were established in the level of end products of protein metabolism - urea and creatinine.ΠΠ»Ρ ΡΠ³Π»ΡΠ±Π»Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΊΠΎΠ½ΡΡΠΎΠ»Ρ Π½Π°Π΄ ΠΏΠΎΠ»Π½ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΡΡ ΠΊΠΎΡΠΌΠ»Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΊΡΡΠΏΠ½ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΡΠΎΠ³Π°ΡΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΡΠΊΠΎΡΠ° ΠΈ ΠΎΠ±Π΅ΡΠΏΠ΅ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΎΠΏΠ΅ΡΠ°ΡΠΈΠ²Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΡΠ΅Π°Π³ΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ Π½Π° ΠΏΠΈΡΠ°ΡΠ΅Π»ΡΠ½ΡΠ΅ Π΄ΠΈΡΠ±Π°Π»Π°Π½ΡΡ ΠΈ ΠΊΠΎΡΡΠ΅ΠΊΡΠΈΡΠΎΠ²ΠΊΠΈ ΡΠ°ΡΠΈΠΎΠ½ΠΎΠ² ΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΡΠ΅Ρ ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠ²Π°ΡΡ ΡΠΎΡΡΠΎΡΠ½ΠΈΠ΅ Π°Π·ΠΎΡΠΈΡΡΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΠΎΠ±ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π°. The results of studies of indicators of nitrogen metabolism in the blood serum of the descendants of four bulls at the age of 12-13 months are presented. The studies were conducted in the South of Western Siberia at Vaganovo OJSC on the livestock population of Holstein breed. The creatinine concentration in the blood serum samples of the sons was determined using a set of reagents from Vector-Best (Russia). In the regions of animal breeding, constant monitoring of water, soil, feed, animal organs and tissues is carried out. It was established that in the areas in which the studied breeds were bred, the content of macro- and microelements did not exceed the MPC. The level of serum creatinine in the examined animals on average for all groups of sons was 308.2 Β± 24.1 ΞΌmol / L, which exceeds the generally accepted valuesΒ Β of this indicator. However, taking into account age and sex and breed characteristics, taking into account data on the overall health of the animals examined, information on the ecological well-being of the breeding zone, the results can be considered as reference valuesΒ Β for healthy Holstein bulls in Western Siberia. It was shown that in the blood serum of the sons of some fathers, the creatinine content was 1.7 times higher (364.2 Β± 52.7 ΞΌmol / L) than in the descendants of other manufacturers (p> 0.95). A group of half-siblings was found, which were characterized by a low hereditary predisposition to creatinine content. Discovered differences in the creatinine content in the blood serum of sons reflect the differentiation of bulls and indicate genetically determined features of the functioning of the homeostasis system. In this case, most likely, there is a different ability of descendants to adapt to environmental and climatic conditions.ΠΠ·Π»ΠΎΠΆΠ΅Π½Ρ ΡΠ΅Π·ΡΠ»ΡΡΠ°ΡΡ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠΉ ΠΏΠΎΠΊΠ°Π·Π°ΡΠ΅Π»Π΅ΠΉ Π°Π·ΠΎΡΠΈΡΡΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΠΎΠ±ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π° Π² ΡΡΠ²ΠΎΡΠΎΡΠΊΠ΅ ΠΊΡΠΎΠ²ΠΈ ΠΏΠΎΡΠΎΠΌΠΊΠΎΠ² ΡΠ΅ΡΡΡΠ΅Ρ

In the article, the authors presented the main achievements and problems of developing dairy cattle breeding associated with selection and breeding work in the Novosibirsk region. It is necessary to solve the following tasks step by step for the purpose of the sustainable, progressive development of the industry and improvement of selection and breeding work with dairy cattle in the region: the creation of a regional/regional council for breeding work; organization of the Novosibirsk tribal union of dairy industry enterprises; formation of an assistant service based on the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University (NSAU) in cooperation with the Siberian Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Russian academy of sciences and JSC Novosibirskagroplem (RSIC β Regional Selection and Information Center); formation of a unified global database of breeding resources of the Siberian Federal District (SFD), the central regions of the Russian Federation, member countries of the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) using foreign data sources; development and implementation of an information and analytical system that allows you to automate selection and breeding work at the level of the economy, region, country/countries; automating the process of phenotyping of dairy cattle and improving the quality of the work of assessors (classifiers) of the exterior. The implementation of the tasks outlined will contribute to the consolidation of approaches at the regional level. It will lead to an increase in the quality of primary zootechnical accounting, which, in turn, will allow the assessment of the genetic potential of dairy cattle productivity, taking into account regional specifics, with high accuracy. It is expected that the result of such activities will be the development of appropriate domestic software tools for gaining technological sovereignty and ensuring the food security of the region and the country.ΠΡΠ²Π΅ΡΠ΅Π½Ρ ΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠ²Π½ΡΠ΅ Π΄ΠΎΡΡΠΈΠΆΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΈ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ±Π»Π΅ΠΌΡ ΡΠ°Π·Π²ΠΈΡΠΈΡ ΠΌΠΎΠ»ΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΡΠΊΠΎΡΠΎΠ²ΠΎΠ΄ΡΡΠ²Π°, ΡΠ²ΡΠ·Π°Π½Π½ΡΠ΅ Ρ ΡΠ°Π·Π²ΠΈΡΠΈΠ΅ΠΌ ΡΠ΅Π»Π΅ΠΊΡΠΈΠΎΠ½Π½ΠΎ-ΠΏΠ»Π΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΡΡ Π² ΠΠΎΠ²ΠΎΡΠΈΠ±ΠΈΡΡΠΊΠΎΠΉ ΠΎΠ±Π»Π°ΡΡΠΈ. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the primary databases of zootechnical records in western Siberia. The object of the study was the records on milk productivity (milk yield during the whole lactation, milk fat content, milk protein content, amount of milk fat, amount of milk protein), duration of lactation (service period, dry period, inter-breeding period), age of the first fruitful insemination and information on the origin of 20,000 Holstein cows. The validity of the raw data was assessed by assuming a Gaussian distribution without significant human influence. For this purpose, the Anderson-Darling test and corresponding visualization using histograms and quantile-quantile plots were applied. The list of traits of milk production was based on the values of the Anderson-Darling criterion. The authors found that the highest levels of this criterion were correlated with milk fat and protein. And the indicator Β«milk yieldΒ» was practically absent from the list of traits of dairy productivity. These results can be explained by the fact that in most enterprises, the value of milk yield was higher than the appraisal threshold values. An analysis of the genealogical trees of the studied breeding enterprises was carried out, along with the use of statistical criteria. This analysis revealed the inappropriate assignment of several dozen of offspring to a single mother. Thus, the presented approach can be used to identify outliers associated with human factors. And it can also be related to improper methodological support of the sampling process and errors in the work of the laboratories of selective milk quality control associated with the sampling and delivery of samples.Π¦Π΅Π»ΡΡ Π½Π°ΡΡΠΎΡΡΠ΅ΠΉ ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΡΡ ΡΠ²Π»ΡΠ΅ΡΡΡ ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΊΠ° Π±Π°Π· Π΄Π°Π½Π½ΡΡ

The characteristic of bulls-producers of red breeds of OAO Barnaulskoe breeding enterprise on the quality of sperm and its resistance to cryopreservation are presented. The breeding enterprise has examined samples of water, soil, feed for the content of heavy metals. In the studied samples, no excess of the LOC was found. The research results were processed on a PC using population statistics methods. Angler bulls produced the largest amount of ejaculates unsuitable for cryopreservation. It is 20.6%. According to this indicator, they surpassed the producers of red Danish and red steppe breeds by 4.1-7.8%. The animals of the latter breed showed the smallest amount (1.7%) of ejaculates rejected after defrost. In Angler bulls, this indicator was 5.95%, in red Danish bulls it was 2.95%, which is 3.52 and 1.75 times higher than in red steppe breeders (P <0.01-0.001). Significant differences were established between individual bulls of the red steppe breed in the number of ejaculates rejected before cryopreservation (2.84-22.29%) and after defrost (0-7.09%). The differences between breeds in the frequency of rejected ejaculates before freezing and after cryopreservation indicate a certain role of heredity in the resistance of animals for these indicators. Spearmanβs rank correlation coefficient between these traits was 0.312. It indicates the possibility of preliminary assessment and selection of bulls according to the first indicator. But the final assessment of the bull-producers can be made by the frequency of rejected ejaculates after thawing. We propose to consider the issue of additional accounting in breeding programs for the resistance of the seed of bulls-producers to cryopreservation.ΠΡΠΈΠ²Π΅Π΄Π΅Π½Π° Ρ

The authors found out average population levels of protein metabolism of the bulls aged 18 months. These parameters can be used as guide values for Hereford cattle in western Siberia. The paper speaks about positive correlations between biochemical parameters of protein metabolism and concentration of lead in muscles, spermaries, spleen, heart and lungs. The authors analyzed the organs and muscle tissue on lead concentration by means of atomic absorption spectrometry on spectrophotometer Shimadzu AA-7000. The researchers defined biochemical parameters on biochemical analyzer Photometer 5010. The authors assessed biochemical parameters of protein metabolism where concentration of crude protein, albumens, BUN, uric acid and creatinine was within physiological standards. The researchers observed positive correlations between the concentration of lead in lungs, muscles, spleen, spermaries and heart with parameters of protein metabolism.Π£ΡΡΠ°Π½ΠΎΠ²Π»Π΅Π½Ρ ΡΡΠ΅Π΄Π½Π΅ΠΏΠΎΠΏΡΠ»ΡΡΠΈΠΎΠ½Π½ΡΠ΅ ΡΡΠΎΠ²Π½ΠΈ Π±Π΅Π»ΠΊΠΎΠ²ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ ΠΎΠ±ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π° Ρ Π±ΡΠΊΠΎΠ² Π² Π²ΠΎΠ·ΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ 18 ΠΌΠ΅ΡΡΡΠ΅Π², ΠΊΠΎΡΠΎΡΡΠ΅ ΠΌΠΎΠ³ΡΡ Π±ΡΡΡ ΠΏΡΠΈΠ½ΡΡΡ Π² ΠΊΠ°ΡΠ΅ΡΡΠ²Π΅ ΠΎΡΠΈΠ΅Π½ΡΠΈΡΠΎΠ²ΠΎΡΠ½ΡΡ

The literature review presents the current understanding of cholesterol metabolism occurring under physiological conditions. The homeostasis of cholesterol in the body is determined by its endogenous synthesis, the transition to the cell from plasma as part of low-densitylipoproteins( LDL), the release of their cells as part of high-density lipoproteins (HDL). The molecular-genetic mechanisms of regulation of cholesterol homeostasis are described in detail. The genes for cholesterol biosynthesis in major multicellular animals were inherited from their last common eukaryotic ancestor and are evolutionarily conserved for cholesterol biosynthesis. Non-coding variants of singlenucleotide polymorphisms can significantly contribute to the phenotypic variability of cholesterol, and missense variants that lead to the replacement of amino acids in proteins can have a significant effect on the phenotypic variability. The modern aspects of cholesterol homeostasis in cattle are formed and sufficiently fully presented. During absence of exogenous intake, the balance of cholesterol in cattle is maintained by endogenous synthesis, occurring mainly in the liver, the intake of lipoproteins, as well as reverse transport mechanisms. This review gives an idea that the stability of homeostasis can be achieved only with the complex interaction of all systems (transport, enzyme, receptor) involved in this process. The analysis of the latest scientific works concerning the problem of the content and regulation of cholesterol in cowβs milk is presented. Significant single-nucleotide polymorphisms localized in the ACAT2, LDLR, DGAT, and AGPAT1 genes involved in the exchange of cholesterol in the liver or its transport and associated with the level of cholesterol in milk are described. Part of the review is devoted to cholesterol deficiency syndrome in Holstein cattle (HCD). Modern data on the prevalence, molecular and genetic basis, clinical and laboratory manifestations of the syndrome are presented.Π Π»ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΡΡΡΠ½ΠΎΠΌ ΠΎΠ±Π·ΠΎΡΠ΅ ΡΠ°ΡΡΠΌΠ°ΡΡΠΈΠ²Π°ΡΡΡΡ ΡΠΎΠ²ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π½ΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠ΅Π΄ΡΡΠ°Π²Π»Π΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΎ ΠΌΠ΅ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΠ»ΠΈΠ·ΠΌΠ΅ Ρ

The study of the biological role of chemical elements in farm animals is one of the issues that scientists continue to investigate. A comprehensive study of the gene pool and phenofund of breeds and species of farm animals is being carried out in Siberia. An important issue is the search for vital markers of macronutrient accumulation, including sodium in organs and tissues of animals. The article presents data on the content of sodium in the blood serum of offspring obtained from bulls-producers of the Holstein breed. The experiment was carried out at OAO Vaganovo, Kemerovo region. The sodium concentration was determined by the atomic emission method on an ICP AES IRIS spectrometer at the V. S. Sobolev Analytical Center for Collective Use of the Institute of Geology and Mineralogy SB RAS. In the area of Holstein cattle breeding, there is no excess of LOC for heavy metals in soil, water, feed, organs and tissues of animals. The influence of the genotype of the fathers of the Holstein breed on the sodium content in the blood serum of sons was established. The sodium concentration in Fabioβs offspring was 1.9 times higher (240.4 mg/ l) than in Brioβs sons (P Λ 0.001). By the level of sodium in the serum of offspring, bulls-producers were arranged in the following order: Brio Λ Bonaire Λ Malstrom Λ Fabio in a proportion of 1: 1.3: 1.5: 1.9. The phenotypic variability of this element between the offspring of different producers differed by 3 times or more. Interbreed differentiation, the influence of the genotype of producers, differences between lines and families sign the hereditary determination of resistance and susceptibility to the accumulation of macro- and microelements in organs and tissues of animals.ΠΠ·ΡΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΠ΅ Π±ΠΈΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΎΠΉ ΡΠΎΠ»ΠΈ Ρ
