    Bibliotherapy, which is a new approach, is a popular method especially used by psychological counsellors for the purpose of psychological guidance in mental health in schools. The purpose of this study is to examine bibliotheraphy method theoretically and explain how psychological counselors who work in schools can effectively use bibliotherapy method for the purpose of psychological counseling and guidance. In this study, the purpose of use, types and use of bibliotheraphy for the purpose of psychological counseling and guidance have been discussed. In addition, processes of bibliotherapy and psychological counseling role in bibliyotherapy process, limitations and advantages in the bibliotherapy process have been examined. Özellikle psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik amacıyla psikolojik danışmanlar tarafından bibliyoterapinin zihinsel sağlık kullanımı alanında popüler bir yöntem, okullarda oldukça yeni bir yaklaşımdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bibliyoterapi yöntemini teorik olarak incelemek ve okullarda çalışan psikolojik danışmanların psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik amacıyla bibliyoterapi yöntemini nasıl kullanabileceklerini açıklamaktır.Bu çalışmada, psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik amacıyla bibliyoterapinin kullanım amacı, çeşitleri ve kullanımı tartışılmıştır.Ayrıca bibliyoterapi sürecinde bıblıoterapi ve psikolojik danışma süreçleri, bibliyoterapi sürecindeki kısıtlılıklar ve avantajlar incelenmiştir.  Article visualizations

    The Effect of Web-Based Teaching Method on Academic Achievement in Tourism Education

    The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of web based teaching method on the academic achievement level of undergraduate students in Tourism Education department in the fall semester of 2009-2010 academic year. The research was carried out with 50 students (25 students in control group, 25 students in experimental group) who were studying at Tourism and Travel Management; and Tourism and Hotel Management Programs in Tourism and Hotel Management Vocational High School at Gaziantep University. The research procedure included both pre-test/post-test and experimental-control group research models. While creating control and experimental groups, the researchers took into consideration neutrality, academic success, internet access, knowledge level of internet and computer use as well as of web based learning. The GTOI/SEYH 111 Communication Course was delivered both in webbased learning method and traditional face-to-face method. In the course, basic concepts, verbal-nonverbal communication, written communication with the communication issues were taught to experimental group with web-based teaching method and they were taught to control group with traditional methods (lecturing, question-answer, simulation
