Inventory and analysis of brownfields in the Karvina city territory

V současné době se setkáváme se stále aktuálnější problematikou ploch brownfields a s tím souvisejícím nadměrným záborem zemědělského půdního fondu a intenzivní výstavbou na tzv. „zelené louce“. S ústupem těžby nerostných surovin, ukončením zastaralých provozů, stěhováním podniků na východ a prohlubováním sociálních rozdílů se jejich počet každoročně exponenciálně zvyšuje a způsobuje nejenom ekonomické, ekologické, ale i sociální problémy v území. Tento článek analyzuje situaci brownfields ve městě Karviná. Inventarizace popisuje základní charakteristiky jednotlivých brownfields a klade si za cíl informovat zejména odbornou veřejnost o jejich aktuálním počtu a stavu.We meet still more and more actual issue of brownfield regeneration nowadays. Excessive occupation of agricultural land and intensive development of free spaces are connected with this problem. Number of brownfields is still higher and higher, which is caused by attenuation of mineral resources extraction, termination of obsolete facilities, relocation of some companies to the eastern countries and the deepening of social differences. Economic, ecologic and also social problems accompany this situation. This article analyses the situation of brownfields in a Czech city called Karvina.
