Sub-Arcsecond Near-Infrared Images of Massive Star Formation Region NGC 6334 V
We present high spatial resolution (0\farcs3) polarimetric images in the
and bands and direct images in the and bands of the NGC 6334
V infrared nebulae. The images show complex structures including the
multi-shells and various knots in the nebulae. The appearances and colors of
the eastern and western nebulae differ considerably. Our polarization images
also show differences between the illuminating sources of the nebulae: the
eastern nebula is illuminated by a deeply embedded mid-infrared source, KDJ 4,
and the western nebula by our newly detected near-infrared source, WN-A1. The
degree of polarization of the nebulae is very large, up to 70% at and 60%
at , which is consistent with a single scattering of near-infrared radiation
from each source at the walls of the mass outflows
RNN Based Auto-tuning of PID Control Gains in Hot StripLooper Controller
In this study, auto tuning of PID control gains in hot strip looper controller is made based on RNN model. Neuro emulator is employed to model the characteristics of looper
dynamics. Combining neuro emulator and RNN model, auto tuning system of PID control gains is constructed. As the inputs to RNN, plural evaluation functions which reflect individual preference of human experts. Further, Self learning mechamism is embeded to RNN model which enables adaptation to the change in rolling chracteristics. Through numerical experiments, the effect of the proposed method is ascertained
The double charm decays of B Mesons in the mSUGRA model
Based on the low energy effective Hamiltonian with naive factorization, we
calculate the branching ratios(BRs) and CP asymmetries (CPAs) for the twenty
three double charm decays in both the
standard model (SM) and the minimal supergravity (mSUGRA) model. Within the
considered parameter space, we find that (a) the theoretical predictions for
the BRs, CPAs and the polarization fractions in the SM and the mSUGRA model are
all consistent with the currently available data within errors;
(b) For all the considered decays, the supersymmetric contributions in the
mSUGRA model are very small, less than numerically. It may be difficult
to observe so small SUSY contributions even at LHC.Comment: 15 pages, 5tables, no figure
<Reports on the Eighth Annual Meeting of the Tsukuba English Linguistic Society> Attitude Reports and Semantic Theories
We examined various semantic theories with respect to the treatment of attitude reports, such as believe, know, see/see that and hear/hear that. ..
