Enhancing Awareness of Early Marriage through Video Media: A Study in Cirebon Junior High Schools
Child marriage is a pervasive global problem that has a significant impact on numerous countries across the globe. The objective of this study is to analyze the disparities in knowledge and attitudes among junior high school students in Cirebon in 2023, before and after an intervention using audiovisual media to raise awareness about the hazards of early marriage. This study utilized a quantitative approach and incorporated a quasi-experimental methodology known as the one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling method was purposive sampling, specifically targeting kids from thirteen junior high schools in Cirebon, with a total of 204 participants. The study findings suggested a significant improvement in knowledge following the session. During the pretest, 87 students, accounting for 42.6% of the total, demonstrated good knowledge. This number increased to 137 students, or 67.2%, in posttest-1, and further to 197 students, equivalent to 96.6%, in posttest-2. In the pretest, 98 students (48%) demonstrated a positive attitude towards recognizing the risks of early marriage. This percentage climbed to 108 students (52.9%) in posttest-1 and further to 188 students (92.2%) in posttest-2. The statistical analysis using Cochran's test revealed a p-value of 0.00 for both knowledge and attitude, demonstrating substantial disparities in knowledge and attitudes before the intervention, after the first intervention, and after the second intervention about the hazards of early marriage
Perbedaan Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Sebelum Dan Sesudah Intervensi Menggunakan Media Video Tentang Bahaya Pernikahan Dini Pada Siswa Siswi SMP Di Kota Cirebon Tahun 2022
Early marriage is known as a global problem experienced in many countries. Based on Cirebon city marriage registration data for each sub-district, the number of marriages under 21 years old in 2020 is high (19.6%). This study aimed to determine the effect of reproductive health education using video media on junior high school students' knowledge and attitudes about the dangers of early marriage in Cirebon City in 2022. The quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test methods was used. The sample was recruited using purposive sampling to the 102 people population of students in five schools around Cirebon City. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis by the Mc-Nemar test. An increase in knowledge in the good category was obtained from 57.8% to 77.5% also in supportive attitude from 54.9% to 75.5% after the intervention. The results showed significant differences in knowledge (p-value = 0.001) and attitudes (p-value = 0.001) before and after the video media intervention. It is highly recommended to enter any material related to early marriage into the junior high school curriculum also extracurricular activities at school. Â

The effect of giving sweet potato leaf-based functional drink to increase HB levels
Beckground: Menstruating young women experience twice as much iron loss as young men. One alternative effort that can be made is to provide functional drinks that are useful for overcoming anemia. Functional beverages must provide nutritional intake and sensory satisfaction, such as good taste and good texture, using sweet potato leaves (Ipomoea Batatas L). Sweet potato leaves are chosen as raw material because, besides being abundantly available and accessible to cultivate, they are also very cheap, so that they can reduce production costs. Pancalang Health Center is one of the Health Centers in the Kuningan Regency Area with reasonably high sweet potato cultivation. Aims: This study aims to determine the level of compliance with functional drink consumption, determine hemoglobin levels before and after functional drink intervention, describe anemia status before and after functional drink intervention, describe the effects of functional drink consumption, and nutritional status picture before and after consuming functional drink products. Research methode: The study was conducted by quasi-experiment in one group (nonrandomized pre-test and post-test without control group design). Purposive sampling was carried out by Purposive Sampling on adolescents at the Pancalang Health Center, Kuningan Regency. Data collection was done by checking HB levels before the intervention and after the intervention. The intervention is carried out for 52 days. Results: and Conclussion: The majority of respondents were compliant in consuming functional drinks, and only 7.5Â % were non-compliant. The median before the intervention is 11 and after the intervention is 12 and a p value of <0,001 is obtained, meaning that statistically there is a significant difference between HB before the intervention and after the intervention. Contribution: There was a significant difference between Hb levels before the intervention and after the intervention, obtaining a p-value of <0.001
