This resource was developed by the Suicide Response Initiative of the Calgary Health Region, with support from the Alberta Mental Health Board, and adapted by CARMHA with permission for use in BC. Pengaruh Bimbingan Kelompok Teknik Diskusi Terhadap Kematangan Karir

    There are indications of low career maturity, especially among class VIII students. Often the negative impact of career maturity is more influenced by feelings that do not convince oneself to be able to progress further, this impact is influenced by the surrounding environment which is included in the low education category, thus having an impact on the next generation and the economy. These factors have quite a big influence on students to continue their wishes. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of discussion technique group guidance on the career maturity of class VIII students at SMPN 13 Jember. The research subjects were class VIII students at SMPN 13 Jember for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 32 students. Quantitative research with pre-experimental research methods (pre-experimental design). The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique (with certain criteria). The population in this study were 33 class VIII students at SMPN 13 Jember and all of them were used as research samples. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire. The results of the research show that there is an influence of discussion technique group guidance on the career maturity of class VIII students at SMPN 13 Jember. Data analysis using the T test formula with the help of SPSS states that the calculated sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000. With these results Ha is accepted and H0 is rejectedAdanya indikasi rendahnya kematangan karir, khususnya peserta didik kelas VIII. Seringkali kematangan karirnya berdampak negatif lebih dipengaruhi perasaan yang kurang meyakinkan dirinya untuk bisa lebih maju, dampaknya dipengaruhi lingkungan sekitar dalam kategori rendahnya pendidikan, sehingga berdampak pada generasi berikutnya, serta faktor ekonomi cukup berdampak besar bagi peserta didik untuk melanjutkan keingiannya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi terhadap kematangan karir siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Jember. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Jember tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebanyak 32 siswa. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitin pra-eksperimen (pre-experimental design). teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling (dengan kriteria-kriteria tertentu). Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 32 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Jember dan keseluruhannya dijadikan sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh bimbingan kelompok teknik diskusi terhadap kematangan karir siswa kelas VIII SMPN 13 Jember. Analisis data menggunakan rumus uji T dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26 menyatakan bahwa hasil perhitungan nilai dari sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Assessment of the complications after percutaneous fixation with cannulated cancecellous screws among the cases of tibial plateau fractures in a tertiary healthcare institute: a cross sectional study

Background: Fractures in the tibial plateau were first defined as car bumper fractures. Tibial plateau fractures are a diverse group of fractures that reflect a wide range of intensity, ranging from simple accidents to intricate fracture trends that test even the most qualified surgeons. The present study was conducted to study the result of minimally invasive technique for tibial plateau fractures by percutaneous fixation with cannulated cancellous screws and to study complications associated with it in a tertiary care center.Methods: It was a cross sectional study conducted among 13 patients with tibial plateau fractures during January 2016 to December 2016 admitted under department of orthopedics in a tertiary healthcare institute in northern Maharashtra. The criteria for selection of a case were a fracture of tibial plateau (Shatzker’s type I to type IV) with displacement or depression more than 8mm.Results: One patient (7%) had compartment syndrome at the time of presentation. No patient in our series had early postoperative complication. One patient developed knee joint pain 16 months after operation due to early osteo-artgritic changes.Conclusions: There was no early complication related to surgery like superficial or deep infection, damage to neurovascular structures, etc. Ten patients (76%) achieved full range of knee motion within 3 months after operation. All the fractures were united within 14 weeks duration

Non-minimal coupling to gravity can be encoded in an effective potential. The Coleman bounce continuously deforms into the Hawking-Moss bounce, until they coincide for a critical value of the Hubble constant. As an application, we reconsider the decay of the electroweak Higgs vacuum during inflation.
