Cosmic Evolution with Early and Late Acceleration Inspired by Dual Nature of the Ricci Scalar Curvature

In the present paper, it is found that dark energy emerges spontaneously from the modified gravity. According to cosmological scenario, obtained here, the universe inflates for $\sim 10^{-37}$ sec. in the beginning and late universe accelerates after 8.58 Gyrs. During the long intermediate period, it decelerates driven by radiation and subsequently by matter. Emerged gravitational dark energy mimics quintessence and its density falls by 115 orders from its initial value $2.58\times 10^{68} {\rm GeV}^4$ to its current value $2.19\times 10^{-47} {\rm GeV}^4$ .Comment: 40 pages. Expression of the MtsA lipoprotein of Streptococcus agalactiae A909 is regulated by manganese and iron

Metal ion acquisition and homeostasis are essential for bacterial survival, growth and physiology. A family of metal ion, ABC-type import systems have been identified in Gram-positive bacteria, in which the solute-binding proteins are predicted to be membrane-anchored lipoproteins. The prediction that the MtsA protein of Streptococcus agalactiae A909 is a lipoprotein was confirmed. The expression of MtsA was co-ordinately regulated by the presence of both manganese and ferrous ions suggesting that MtsA may be involved in the uptake of both these ions. Preclinical and clinical trials of Indian medicinal plants in disease control

Since the ancient period, the medicinal plants have been used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Recently, it has gained extreme research importance for their nutraceuticals values. It has been confirmed by WHO that herbal medicines serve the health needs of about 80% of World’s population; especially for millions of people in the vast rural areas of developing countries. This book chapter summarizes the importance of several medicinal plants which are traditionally used in treatment and management of different ailments in India. In addition, some pharmacological models describe the possible mechanism of action of bioactive phytochemicals, which can be successfully used as drug candidates in near future. However, there is urgent need for basic scientific investigations on medicinal plants and this has been highlighted in current research trends in clinical trials
