Additional file 1: of Do alternative methods for analysing count data produce similar estimates? Implications for meta-analyses
The implications for meta-analysis of alternative methods for analysing count data. Additional file 1 contains three sections. The first is example Stata code for the simulations to make it absolutely clear how they were done. It is possible to present the results by using ratios of the results for the difference method rather than difference. These are presented in the second section. The third section contains the plots of the distributions of the differences for all the simulated scenarios. (DOCX 1,488 kb

Additional file 1: of Evidence map of studies evaluating methods for conducting, interpreting and reporting overviews of systematic reviews of interventions: rationale and design
PRISMA-P: recommended items to address in a systematic review protocol. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P) [14] was used to develop this protocol. The PRISMA-P checklist was developed for the preparation of protocols of systematic reviews that summarise aggregate data from studies, particularly the evaluations of the effects of interventions, and therefore, not all PRISMA-P items were applicable.
