    Fabrication of a microresonator-fiber assembly maintaining a high-quality factor by CO2 laser welding

    We demonstrate fabrication of a microtoroid resonator of a high-quality (high-Q) factor using femtosecond laser three-dimensional (3D) micromachining. A fiber taper is reliably assembled to the microtoroid using CO2 laser welding. Specifically, we achieve a high Q-factor of 2.12*10^6 in the microresonator-fiber assembly by optimizing the contact position between the fiber taper and the microtoroid.Comment: 7 pages, 5 figure

    Shifting the concept of human resource to the concept of human capital is an inevitable tendency in developing human resource of college counselor. It is because the college counselor has its own specificity that it is hardly possible to avoid the risks of entry and exit which brings in completely. The paper listed the priority of psychological capital, human capital and social capital of the college counselor from the perspective of in-system in the order to attempt to discuss their inner logical relationship based on the basic theory of risk management.     International audienceA pair of structurally analogous macrocyclic iron(II) complexes witha magnetic off-on relationship is reported that exhibit electroneutrality at neutral pH and high stability in physiological media. This has been achieved by external charge compensation using nicotinate pendent arms. No contact toxicity was observed for cells up to 4 mM for the low-spin and 2 mM for the high-spin complex. These results are a necessary precursor to the future design of turn-on probes with elevated biotolerance

    The block mutual coherence property condition for signal recovery

    Compressed sensing shows that a sparse signal can stably be recovered from incomplete linear measurements. But, in practical applications, some signals have additional structure, where the nonzero elements arise in some blocks. We call such signals as block-sparse signals. In this paper, the ℓ2/ℓ1−αℓ2\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2 minimization method for the stable recovery of block-sparse signals is investigated. Sufficient conditions based on block mutual coherence property and associating upper bound estimations of error are established to ensure that block-sparse signals can be stably recovered in the presence of noise via the ℓ2/ℓ1−αℓ2\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2 minimization method. For all we know, it is the first block mutual coherence property condition of stably reconstructing block-sparse signals by the ℓ2/ℓ1−αℓ2\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2 minimization method. Additionally, the numerical experiments implemented verify the performance of the ℓ2/ℓ1−αℓ2\ell_2/\ell_1-\alpha\ell_2 minimization.Comment: 14 pages, 8 figure
