The Model of pressure of surrounding rock Under Effect of Shear Stress
In order to describe the effect of shear stress on the sidewall rock mechanic distribution accurately, in this paper, we have established the micro unit stress equilibrium equation for failure zone and damage zone of the sidewall rock based on damage mechanical mechanism. Establishing the model for calculating radial stress, circumferential stress and shear stress of the sidewall rock considering the shear stress. We have obtained the scope of failure zone and damage zone of the sidewall rock by using central difference method. The result shows that the calculated result considering the shear stress is fit to the actual one
Multiuser Precoding and Channel Estimation for Hybrid Millimeter Wave MIMO Systems
In this paper, we develop a low-complexity channel estimation for hybrid
millimeter wave (mmWave) systems, where the number of radio frequency (RF)
chains is much less than the number of antennas equipped at each transceiver.
The proposed channel estimation algorithm aims to estimate the strongest
angle-of-arrivals (AoAs) at both the base station (BS) and the users. Then all
the users transmit orthogonal pilot symbols to the BS via these estimated
strongest AoAs to facilitate the channel estimation. The algorithm does not
require any explicit channel state information (CSI) feedback from the users
and the associated signalling overhead of the algorithm is only proportional to
the number of users, which is significantly less compared to various existing
schemes. Besides, the proposed algorithm is applicable to both non-sparse and
sparse mmWave channel environments. Based on the estimated CSI, zero-forcing
(ZF) precoding is adopted for multiuser downlink transmission. In addition, we
derive a tight achievable rate upper bound of the system. Our analytical and
simulation results show that the proposed scheme offer a considerable
achievable rate gain compared to fully digital systems, where the number of RF
chains equipped at each transceiver is equal to the number of antennas.
Furthermore, the achievable rate performance gap between the considered hybrid
mmWave systems and the fully digital system is characterized, which provides

Development of a time-to-digital converter ASIC for the upgrade of the ATLAS Monitored Drift Tube detector
The upgrade of the ATLAS muon spectrometer for high-luminosity LHC requires
new trigger and readout electronics for the various elements of the detector.
We present the design of a time-to-digital converter (TDC) ASIC prototype for
the ATLAS Monitored Drift Tube (MDT) detector. The chip was fabricated in a
GlobalFoundries 130 nm CMOS technology. Studies indicate that its timing and
power consumption characteristics meet the design specifications, with a timing
bin variation of 40 ps for all 48 channels with a power consumption of about

Formation and Characterization of Lactoferrin-Hyaluronic Acid Conjugates and Their Effects on the Storage Stability of Sesamol Emulsions
The purpose of this study was to fabricate biopolymer conjugates from lactoferrin (LF) and hyaluronic acid (HA) and then to investigate their potential as emulsifiers for forming sesamol-loaded emulsions. Initially, LF-HA covalent conjugates were formed using the carbodiimide coupling method in aqueous solutions at pH = 4.5, and then the nature of the conjugates was investigated using sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) spectroscopy, and fluorescence spectroscopy. The results demonstrated the formation of an amide link between the amine groups of LF and the carboxyl groups of HA. Sesamol emulsions were prepared using the LF-HA conjugates as emulsifiers and their stability was determined. The conjugates improved both the physical and chemical stability of the emulsions during storage. Optimum stability of the emulsion was obtained at a LF-to-HA molar ratio of 2:1. Our results suggest that LF-HA conjugates may be effective emulsifiers for use in food stuffs and other applications
