Universal R-matrix Of The Super Yangian Double DY(gl(1|1))
Based on Drinfeld realization of super Yangian Double DY(gl(1|1)), its
pairing relations and universal R-matrix are given. By taking evaluation
representation of universal R-matrix, another realization of
DY(gl(1|1)) is obtained. These two realizations of DY(gl(1|1)) are related by
the supersymmetric extension of Ding-Frenkel map.Comment: 6 pages, latex, no figure
Explaining 750 GeV diphoton excess from top/bottom partner cascade decay in two-Higgs-doublet model extension
In this paper, we interpret the 750 GeV diphoton excess in the Zee-Babu
extension of the two-Higgs-doublet model by introducing a top partner
()/bottom partner (). In the alignment limit, the 750 GeV resonance is
identified as the heavy CP-even Higgs boson (), which can be sizably
produced via the QCD process or followed by
the decay or . The diphoton decay rate of is greatly
enhanced by the charged singlet scalars predicted in the Zee-Babu extension and
the total width of can be as large as 7 GeV. Under the current LHC
constraints, we scan the parameter space and find that such an extension can
account for the observed diphoton excess.Comment: 19 pages, 4 figures; some discussions and references adde
3-(4-Methoxybenzylidene)-1,5-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane-2,4-dione
In the title molecule, C17H18O5, which was prepared by the reaction of (R)-1,5-dioxaspiro[5.5]undecane-2,4-dione and 4-methoxybenzaldehyde with ethanol, the 1,3-dioxane ring is in a distorted envelope conformation with the spiro C atom forming the flap. The crystal structure is stabilized by weak intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds
Multiple Signaling Pathways Are Involved in the Interleukine-4 Regulated Expression of DC-SIGN in THP-1 Cell Line
Dendritic cell-specific intercellular adhesion molecule-3 grabbing nonintegrin (DC-SIGN) is an important pattern recognition receptor on dendritic cells (DCs), and its expression shows significant cytological and histological specificity, being interleukine-4 (IL-4) dependent. The signaling pathways through which IL-4 regulates expression of DC-SIGN are still unclear. We used phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate- (PMA-) differentiated THP-1 cells as the in vitro model of monocyte/macrophage cells to study the signaling pathways involved in IL-4-regulated expression of DC-SIGN. We found that a high expression of DC-SIGN could be induced by IL-4 at the levels of mRNA and cell surface protein. Upregulated expression of DC-SIGN was almost completely blocked by the specific inhibitor of ERK pathway, and partly reduced by the specific inhibitors of JAK-STAT and NF-κB pathways. The activation of the three signaling pathways was directly confirmed by testing the phosphorylation of protein kinase within the cytoplasm and nucleus over time. The analysis of cis-acting elements of DC-SIGN promoter showed that the activity of DC-SIGN promoter without Ets-1 transcription factors binding site almost completely disappeared. Our results demonstrated that multiple signaling pathways are involved in IL-4 induced high expression of DC-SIGN on THP-1 cells, in which ERK pathway is the main signaling pathway and mediated by the Ets-1 transcription factors binding site

A Score-based Geometric Model for Molecular Dynamics Simulations
Molecular dynamics (MD) has long been the \emph{de facto} choice for modeling
complex atomistic systems from first principles, and recently deep learning
become a popular way to accelerate it. Notwithstanding, preceding approaches
depend on intermediate variables such as the potential energy or force fields
to update atomic positions, which requires additional computations to perform
back-propagation. To waive this requirement, we propose a novel model called
ScoreMD by directly estimating the gradient of the log density of molecular
conformations. Moreover, we analyze that diffusion processes highly accord with
the principle of enhanced sampling in MD simulations, and is therefore a
perfect match to our sequential conformation generation task. That is, ScoreMD
perturbs the molecular structure with a conditional noise depending on atomic
accelerations and employs conformations at previous timeframes as the prior
distribution for sampling. Another challenge of modeling such a conformation
generation process is that the molecule is kinetic instead of static, which no
prior studies strictly consider. To solve this challenge, we introduce a
equivariant geometric Transformer as a score function in the diffusion process
to calculate the corresponding gradient. It incorporates the directions and
velocities of atomic motions via 3D spherical Fourier-Bessel representations.
With multiple architectural improvements, we outperforms state-of-the-art
baselines on MD17 and isomers of C7O2H10. This research provides new insights
into the acceleration of new material and drug discovery
Influencing factors on efficacy of summer acupoint application treatment for allergic rhinitis: a retrospective study
AbstractObjectiveAllergic rhinitis (AR) is a common health problem. Summer acupoint application treatment (SAAT) is reported to effectively treat and prevent AR from seasonal onset. In the present study, we aimed to evaluate its effects, especially on the course of AR, through a retrospective study.MethodA cross-sectional multicenter study was performed based on patients treated between 2008 and 2009 in 13 clinical centers in China. A total of 1058 outpatients aged ≥2 years with documented AR and ≥1 year SAAT were eligible for enrollment. A case report form (CRF) was completed by both patient and doctor. The CRF was designed to collect data on the patient's history of SAAT, AR condition, and self-reported health condition. The outcomes (dependent variables) were incidence and intensity of AR and concomitant medications used. Data were analyzed with ordinal logistic regression (OLR).ResultsTreatment course and seasonal pattern of AR were related to all dependent variables positively. After controlling for sample bias and confounding factors, the findings suggested that a 3-year treatment course had better efficacy (OR/incidence of AR: 2.57, 95% CI: 1.76–3.76; OR/intensity of AR: 2.17, 95%CI: 1.50–3.17; OR/concomitant medications: 2.20, 95% CI: 1.50–3.23) compared with a 2-year or less treatment course.ConclusionThe results showed that: 1) the length of treatment course was positively associated with the efficacy of SAAT (the longer the treatment course, the better the efficacy); and 2) SAAT was more efficacious in treating seasonal AR than non-seasonal AR
Stability Analysis of ITER Side Correction Coils
AbstractThe stability of the Side Correction Coils (SCC) cable-in-conduit conductors (CICC) for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) has been analyzed by the formulas and the code Gandalf. This paper describes the 1-dimensional mathematical code Gandalf, uses the code to simulate the quench and the recovery status of ITER SCC CICC, discusses the dependence of the stability margin on various operating parameters including operating current, operating temperature and mass flow rate, and analyzes the differences between the simulated values and the calculated values. The ITER SCC's quenching is also simulated to investigate its temperature distribution and temperature margin. Dependence of temperature margin on magnetic fields and operating temperature has been researched. The studies of ITER SCC provide a basis for the stable operation and optimization design of SCC CICC
