Zero-temperature localization in a sub-Ohmic spin-boson model investigated by an extended hierarchy equation of motion

    Get PDF
With a decomposition scheme for the bath correlation function, the hierarchy equation of motion (HEOM) is extended to the zero-temperature sub-Ohmic spin-boson model, providing a numerically accurate prediction of quantum dynamics. As a dynamic approach, the extended HEOM determines the delocalized-localized (DL) phase transition from the extracted rate kernel and the coherent-incoherent dynamic transition from the short-time oscillation. As the bosonic bath approaches from the strong to weak sub-Ohmic regimes, a crossover behavior is identified for the critical Kondo parameter of the DL transition, accompanied by the transition from the coherent to incoherent dynamics in the localization

A Continued Fraction Resummation Form of Bath Relaxation Effect in the Spin-Boson Model

    Get PDF
In the spin-boson model, a continued fraction form is proposed to systematically resum high-order quantum kinetic expansion (QKE) rate kernels, accounting for the bath relaxation effect beyond the second-order perturbation. In particular, the analytical expression of the sixth-order QKE rate kernel is derived for resummation. With higher-order correction terms systematically extracted from higher-order rate kernels, the resummed quantum kinetic expansion (RQKE) approach in the continued fraction form extends the Pade approximation and can fully recover the exact quantum dynamics as the expansion order increases.Comment: accepted by J. Along with the development of the world of science, it is getting faster ICT in education. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to find out how the student's response to the utilization of the Hawgent Dynamic Mathematics application on the material of the curved side of the learning room in the teaching and learning process took place in the classroom. The main object in this study was the 9th-grade junior high school student who was 96 students at Gusui Middle School in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Data collection in this study was a questionnaire containing indicators that have to measure the student's response to the use of learning media using Hawgent Dynamic Mathematics and the primary tool processing research data, namely Ms. Excel and SPSS statistical. The study results were related to the student's response that students agreed, were happy, and were assisted by the Hawgent Dynamic application. The perception or student response results concluded that learning using Hawgent Dynamic software could help in mathematics. It was easier and satisfying for students to understand the material about building a curved side space. However, the use of Hawgent software was only limited to trials, so it was recommended that it be able to use and utilize this software for other discussions on mathematics lessons

Open X-Embodiment:Robotic learning datasets and RT-X models

Large, high-capacity models trained on diverse datasets have shown remarkable successes on efficiently tackling downstream applications. In domains from NLP to Computer Vision, this has led to a consolidation of pretrained models, with general pretrained backbones serving as a starting point for many applications. Can such a consolidation happen in robotics? Conventionally, robotic learning methods train a separate model for every application, every robot, and even every environment. Can we instead train "generalist" X-robot policy that can be adapted efficiently to new robots, tasks, and environments? In this paper, we provide datasets in standardized data formats and models to make it possible to explore this possibility in the context of robotic manipulation, alongside experimental results that provide an example of effective X-robot policies. We assemble a dataset from 22 different robots collected through a collaboration between 21 institutions, demonstrating 527 skills (160266 tasks). We show that a high-capacity model trained on this data, which we call RT-X, exhibits positive transfer and improves the capabilities of multiple robots by leveraging experience from other platforms. Teachers should pay attention to the deep integration of information technology and mathematics courses, so as to achieve the effect that traditional teaching methods are difficult to achieve. Conic section in high school is an important carrier for cultivating students' mathematical literacy, but it is highly abstract and comprehensive, making it a "difficult point" in high school mathematics teaching. Hawgent dynamic mathematics software has powerful dynamic and visual functions, which can effectively assist the teaching of ellipse in high school. The questions to be studied in this paper are: (1) describe how teachers use Hawgent dynamic mathematics software to design learning media when teaching the content of conic section and stimulate students' for knowledge; (2) describe how Hawgent dynamic math software be used in class to help students understand the definition of conic section effectively. This research was used the research method combining ADDIE model and teaching experiment to analyze the class using Hawgent dynamic mathematics software to design learning materials and the class using traditional teaching method. Research sample was 130 high school students. Mathematical software design learning materials, can give students an intuitive presentation of the formation process of the conic, so as to help students effectively understand mathematical concepts and stimulate students' curiosity for knowledge

In recent years, using micro-lectures (a short video of less than ten minutes) as a digital learning medium has become popular for integrating technology into mathematics lessons, providing new experiences to students and helping them to master mathematical concepts. It is important to note that the effectiveness of a micro-lecture depends on how teachers use it and on students’ perceptions of learning support media. Therefore, this research aims to determine Junior High School students’ achievements and satisfaction using micro-lectures on the topic of Direct and Inverse Proportions. Teachers’ micro-lectures in this research were designed based on their teaching styles, learning objectives, and considering the needs of their students. A quasi-experiment with 3, 2, and 1 pretest-posttest design with experimental and control groups was also used. In the first and second experimental groups, teachers used the same version of the micro-lectures in their classrooms as the main learning medium and at home to preview and review Direct and Inverse Proportions materials. At the same time, the control group used conventional expository learning activities. Finally, a learning satisfaction questionnaire was used to determine students’ perceptions of using micro-lectures in their mathematics lessons. Findings indicate that the use of micro-lectures in the experimental classes I and II is better than in the control class and led to improved learning achievements and student satisfaction. Meanwhile, there is no significant difference between using micro-lectures inside and outside classrooms. Students’ report cards also showed that their learning satisfaction using this technique was higher than the control class. Practical implications and suggestions for further investigation are to be also discussed at the end of the paper

Necroptosis-related LncRNAs in skin cutaneous melanoma: evaluating prognosis, predicting immunity, and guiding therapy

Abstract Background An increasing amount of research has speculated that necroptosis could be a therapeutic strategy for treating cancer. However, understanding the prognostic value of the necroptosis-related long non-coding RNAs (NRLs) in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM, hereafter referred to as melanoma) remains poor and needs to be developed. Our research aims to construct a model based on NRLs for the prognosis of patients with melanoma. Methods We obtained the RNA-seq and clinical data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and retrieved 86 necroptosis-related genes from the GeneCards database. The lncRNAs associated with necroptosis were identified via the Pearson correlation coefficient, and the prognostic model of melanoma was constructed using LASSO regression. Next, we employed multiple approaches to verify the accuracy of the model. Melanoma patients were categorized into two groups (high-risk and low-risk) according to the results of LASSO regression. The relationships between the risk score and survival status, clinicopathological correlation, functional enrichment, immune infiltration, somatic mutation, and drug sensitivity were further investigated. Finally, the functions of AL162457.2 on melanoma proliferation, invasion, and migration were validated by in vitro experiments. Results The prognostic model consists of seven NRLs (EBLN3P, AC093010.2, LINC01871, IRF2-DT, AL162457.2, AC242842.1, HLA-DQB1-AS1) and shows high diagnostic efficiency. Overall survival in the high-risk group was significantly lower than in the low-risk group, and risk scores could be used to predict melanoma survival outcomes independently. Significant differences were evident between risk groups regarding the expression of immune checkpoint genes, immune infiltration, immunotherapeutic response and drug sensitivity analysis. A series of functional cell assays indicated that silencing AL162457.2 significantly inhibited cell proliferation, invasion, and migration in A375 cells. Conclusion Our prognostic model can independently predict the survival of melanoma patients while providing a basis for the subsequent investigation of necroptosis in melanoma and a new perspective on the clinical diagnosis and treatment of melanoma
