Design and Evaluation of Digital Baseband Converter Sub-channel Delay Compensation Method on Bandwidth Synthesis
The effect of sub-channel delay on bandwidth synthesis is investigated to eliminate the “phase step” phenomenon in bandwidth synthesis during the test of CDBE (Chinese Digital Backend). Through formula derivation, we realize that sub-channel delay may cause phase discontinuity between different sub-channels. Theoretical analysis shows that sub-channel delay can induce bandwidth synthesis error in group delay measurement of the linear system. Furthermore, in the differential delay measurement between two stations, bandwidth synthesis error may occur when the LO (Local Oscillator) frequency differences of corresponding sub-channels are not identical. Error-free conditions are discussed under different applications. The phase errors among different sub-channels can be removed manually. However, the most effective way is the compensation of sub-channel delay. A sub-channel delay calculation method based on Modelsim is proposed. The compensation method is detailed. Simulation and field experiments are presented to verify our approach
Interconnecting bilayer networks
A typical complex system should be described by a supernetwork or a network
of networks, in which the networks are coupled to some other networks. As the
first step to understanding the complex systems on such more systematic level,
scientists studied interdependent multilayer networks. In this letter, we
introduce a new kind of interdependent multilayer networks, i.e.,
interconnecting networks, for which the component networks are coupled each
other by sharing some common nodes. Based on the empirical investigations, we
revealed a common feature of such interconnecting networks, namely, the
networks with smaller averaged topological differences of the interconnecting
nodes tend to share more nodes. A very simple node sharing mechanism is
proposed to analytically explain the observed feature of the interconnecting
networks.Comment: 9 page
A novel multi-party semiquantum private comparison protocol of size relationship with d-dimensional single-particle states
By using d-level single-particle states, the first multi-party semiquantum
private comparison (MSQPC) protocol which can judge the size relationship of
private inputs from more than two classical users within one execution of
protocol is put forward. This protocol requires the help of one quantum third
party (TP) and one classical TP, both of whom are allowed to misbehave on their
own but cannot conspire with anyone else. Neither quantum entanglement swapping
nor unitary operations are necessary for implementing this protocol. TPs are
only required to perform d-dimensional single-particle measurements. The
correctness analysis validates the accuracy of the compared results. The
security analysis verifies that both the outside attacks and the participant
attacks can be resisted.Comment: 19 pages, 2 figures, 2 table
