Experimental of pumping gangue into the mined-out area
AbstractIn order to find solutions to the ground emission of gangue and realize the gangue pumping into the mined-out area, the underground experimental research is conducted in Shandong Huafeng Coalmine. Through the orthogonal experiment, the research deals with the effect of crushed particle size, mass concentration, and the amount of cement added on the pumping, filling, and the cost. As suggested by the experiment, the particle size of gangue has a significant effect on the pumpability of gangue-paste, and the amount of cement added obviously affects the compressive strength of the gangue-paste and the filling cost. According to the best experimented combination of particle size, the amount of cement added and mass concentration, this experimental system brings about an effective filling of the conventional mining-out area, and furthermore, provides a new approach for the disposal of gangue
Two variants on T2DM susceptible gene HHEX are associated with CRC risk in a Chinese population
Increasing amounts of evidence has demonstrated that T2DM (Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus) patients have increased susceptibility to CRC (colorectal cancer). As HHEX is a recognized susceptibility gene in T2DM, this work was focused on two SNPs in HHEX, rs1111875 and rs7923837, to study their association with CRC. T2DM patients without CRC (T2DM-only, n=300), T2DM with CRC (T2DM/CRC, n=135), cancer-free controls (Control, n=570), and CRC without T2DM (CRC-only, n=642) cases were enrolled. DNA samples were extracted from the peripheral blood leukocytes of the patients and sequenced by direct sequencing. The χ(2) test was used to compare categorical data. We found that in T2DM patients, rs1111875 but not the rs7923837 in HHEX gene was associated with the occurrence of CRC (p= 0.006). for rs1111875, TC/CC patients had an increased risk of CRC (p=0.019, OR=1.592, 95%CI=1.046-2.423). Moreover, our results also indicated that the two variants of HEEX gene could be risk factors for CRC in general population, independent on T2DM (p< 0.001 for rs1111875, p=0.001 for rs7923837). For rs1111875, increased risk of CRC was observed in TC or TC/CC than CC individuals (p<0.001, OR= 1.780, 95%CI= 1.385-2.287; p<0.001, OR= 1.695, 95%CI= 1.335-2.152). For rs7923837, increased CRC risk was observed in AG, GG, and AG/GG than AA individuals (p< 0.001, OR= 1.520, 95%CI= 1.200-1.924; p=0.036, OR= 1.739, 95%CI= 0.989-3.058; p< 0.001, OR= 1.540, 95%CI= 1.225-1.936). This finding highlights the potentially functional alteration with HHEX rs1111875 and rs7923837 polymorphisms may increase CRC susceptibility. Risk effects and the functional impact of these polymorphisms need further validation
Adaptive Dynamic Surface Control for Generator Excitation Control System
For the generator excitation control system which is equipped with static var compensator (SVC) and unknown parameters, a novel adaptive dynamic surface control scheme is proposed based on neural network and tracking error transformed function with the following features: (1) the transformation of the excitation generator model to the linear systems is omitted; (2) the prespecified performance of the tracking error can be guaranteed by combining with the tracking error transformed function; (3) the computational burden is greatly reduced by estimating the norm of the weighted vector of neural network instead of the weighted vector itself; therefore, it is more suitable for the real time control; and (4) the explosion of complicity problem inherent in the backstepping control can be eliminated. It is proved that the new scheme can make the system semiglobally uniformly ultimately bounded. Simulation results show the effectiveness of this control scheme
Low-energy Scattering of System and the Resonance-like Structure
In this paper, low-energy scattering of the meson
system is studied within L\"uscher's finite-size formalism using
twisted mass gauge field configurations. With three different pion mass values,
the -wave threshold scattering parameters, namely the scattering length
and the effective range , are extracted in channel. Our
results indicate that, in this particular channel, the interaction between the
two vector charmed mesons is weakly repulsive in nature hence do not support
the possibility of a shallow bound state for the two mesons, at least for the
pion mass values being studied. This study provides some useful information on
the nature of the newly discovered resonance-like structure
observed in various experiments.Comment: 11 pages, 6 figures. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with

Rotective effect of Fengliao-Changweikang extracts, a traditional Chinese herbal medicine formula,on mucosa in rat with chronic gastritis
Background: Fengliao-Changwei-Kang(FCK), the Chinese patent drug, is a famous traditional Chinese herbal medicine formula. It has a significant effect on the clinic treatment of gastrointestinal diseases including gastritis, enteritis and diarrhea for many years. However, there is few research on the protective effects of FCK on the gastric mucosa of chronic gastritis (CG) model rat. Objective: The present study aimed to explore the effects of FCK extract on mucosa in rats with Chronic Gastritis.Materials and Methods: 50 SD mice were randomly divided into 5 groups with 10 in each group(five per sex). The groups are respectively control group, model group, low, middle and high FCK extracts (FCK I, II and III) group. The CG rat model was induced by synthetic methods. FCK I, II and III group were administrated with FCK extracts at 2.16g• kg, 4.32g• kg, 8.94g• kg once per day for 21 consecutive days, and the control group and model group were administrated the same volume of distilled water at 10mL/kg once per day. 16 hours after the last administration, the rats were anesthetized and their blood and stomach were drawn from vena cava and abdominal cavity. The serum levels of EGF was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) method, the expression of growth factor receptor (EGFR) in gastric mucosa was detected by immunohistochemical method, and the mRNA expressions of NF-κB p65 was detected in-situ hybridization. Results: The inflammation grades and the expressions of NF-κB p65 mRNA in gastric mucosa of the model group were markedly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The inflammation grades of gastric mucosa and the expressions of NF-κB p65 mRNA in gastric mucosa the FCK extract group are significantly lower than those of the model group, and the FCK extract group at 8.64g/kg could greatly increase the serum levels of EGF and the expressions of EGFR in gastric mucosa. High EGF level was found in FCK extract group at 4.32g/kg, but low in FCK extract groups at 2.16g/kg. There were no marked differences among the rats from control group, model group and FCK extract group on ratio of Ll/L2 (P>0.05).Conclusions: FCK extract could alleviate mucosal inflammation by down regulating the expressions of NF-κB p65 mRNA and promote tissue repair by up regulating EGFR expression in gastric mucosa cell. Keywords: chronic gastritis; fengliao-changwei-kang extract; epidermal growth factor receptor; nuclear factor kappa B
