Proton Spin Content From Lattice QCD
We calculate the form factor of the quark energy momentum tensor and thereby
extract the quark orbital angular momentum of the nucleon. The calculation is
done on a quenched lattice at and with Wilson
fermions at = 0.148, 0.152, 0.154 and 0.155. We calculate the
disconnected insertion stochastically which employs the noise with an
unbiased subtraction. This proves to be an efficient method of reduce the error
from the noise. We find that the total quark contribution to the proton spin is
. From this we deduce that the quark orbital angular momentum is
and predict the gluon spin to be , i.e. about
40% of the proton spin is due to the glue.Comment: LATTICE99(Matrix Elements), 3 pages, 3 figure
MIN-COST WITH DELAY SCHEDULING FOR LARGE SCALE CLOUD-BASED WORKFLOW APPLICATIONS PLATFORM
Cloud computing is a promising solution to provide the resource scalability dynamically. In order to support large scale workflow applications, we present Nuts-LSWAP which is implementation for Cloud workflow. Then, a novel Min-cost with delay scheduling algorithm is presented in this paper. We also focuses on the global scheduling including genetic evolution method and other scheduling methods (sequence and greedy) to evaluate and decrease the execution cost. Finally, three primary experiments divided into two parts. One parts of experiment demonstrate the global mapping algorithm effectively, and the second parts compare execution of a large scale workflow instances with or without delay scheduling. It is primarily proved the Nuts-LSWAP is efficient platform for building Cloud workflow environment
The Online Data Quality Monitoring System at BESIII
The online Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) plays an important role in the data
taking process of HEP experiments. BESIII DQM samples data from online data
flow, reconstructs them with offline reconstruction software, and automatically
analyzes the reconstructed data with user-defined algorithms. The DQM software
is a scalable distributed system. The monitored results are gathered and
displayed in various formats, which provides the shifter with current run
information that can be used to find problems early. This paper gives an
overview of DQM system at BESIII.Comment: Already submit to Chinese Physics

A regioselectivity switch in Pd-catalyzed hydroallylation of alkynes.
By exploiting the reactivity of a vinyl-Pd species, we control the regioselectivity in hydroallylation of alkynes under Pd-hydride catalysis. A monophosphine ligand and carboxylic acid combination promotes 1,5-dienes through a pathway involving isomerization of alkynes to allenes. In contrast, a bisphosphine ligand and copper cocatalyst favor 1,4-dienes via a mechanism that involves transmetalation. Our study highlights how to access different isomers by diverting a common organometallic intermediate
A Sliding Mode Control Based Stabilization Method for Directional Rotary Steering Tool-Face
When the directional rotary steering system works in the state of maintaining the tool face angle, the use of PID control mode will lead to a large swing angle of the tool face angle of the directional rotary steering system. In order to reduce the swing amplitude of the tool face angle, based on the PID position control and the angle position error sliding mode control strategy, the exponential synovial control function is established. The simulation results show that the fast and accurate tool face angle tracking is achieved through the closed-loop control of the angle position. The paper provides an implementation method for the research of directional rotary steering system
Gastric adenocarcinoma of the fundic gland: A review of clinicopathological characteristics, treatment and prognosis
Gastric adenocarcinoma of the fundic gland is a rare, well-differentiated gastric cancer entity, and very few patients transition to poorly differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma during progression. Gastric adenocarcinoma of the fundic gland originates from the mucosa of the gastric fundic gland, usually without chronic gastritis or intestinal metaplasia. Histologically, the tumor cells are closely arranged to form anastomosing tubular glands, and more than 95% of tumor cells differentiate towards chief cells. Most gastric adenocarcinoma of the fundic gland cases are characterized by submucosal involvement, but the tumor volume is usually small, with lymphatic and vascular invasion rarely observed. Therefore, endoscopic submucosal dissection can be an ideal treatment, leading to a favorable prognosis, and recurrence and metastasis of the disease are uncommon
1-(4-{[(E)-3-Ethoxy-2-hydroxybenzylidene]amino}phenyl)ethanone oxime
In the title compound, C17H18N2O3, the benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 3.34 (2)°. There is a strong intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds (which induces planarity of the structure). In the crystal, molecules are linked by pairs of O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers
