Subject and purpose of work: The aim of the study was to present the development of the tourist function in the areas of Lower Silesian landscape parks. The subject of the study were the communes associated with Lower Silesian landscape parks. Materials and methods: The study covered 59 communes of the Lower Silesia Voiovodeship where 12 landscape parks are located. In this research six indicators of the level of tourism development were listed - three in the field of conditions of tourism development and three in the field of tourist traffic. Results: A significant dependency between the surface area of a landscape park and the state of tourismoriented land development was established. It turned out that among the 59 surveyed communes in 14 of them there are no tourist accommodation facilities. Conclusions: Based on the conducted surveys, it was found that the highest level of tourist function development occurs in the communes associated with the following landscape parks: Śnieżnik, the Sudety Wałbrzyskie, the Owl Mountains, Książ and Bóbr Valley Landscape Park

Agritourism is a subject of growing interest among consumers, therefore, the key to the success of agritourism activities is to know the expectations and preferences of customers. The purpose of the study was to present the expectations of consumers of agritourism services, including the factors and elements of choosing this form of recreation, and what additional services and attractions would be most desirable. The empirical material was collected through desk research and a diagnostic survey using the CAWI technique. The surveys were conducted in March 2023 and the research sample consisted of 200 people. They showed that among the most important reasons for choosing an agritourism farm as a place to relax were the opportunity to spend more time with the family, the attractive price of services, and the possibility of taking advantage of the food offered by the host. On the other hand, respondents indicated a desire to rest in a peaceful environment and direct contact with nature as the main elements for choosing agritourism farms. In addition, the survey showed that the attractive price of the agritourism offer is a significant factor in encouraging people to take advantage of their stay on agritourism farms

    Symbiots

‘Symbiots’ imagines forms in the urban landscape that operate parasitically — emerging and thriving when households or neighborhoods reduce energy consumption. For people, the provision of these as public functions acts as a reward. For Symbiots, it lures people away from their private habitats and energy-consuming habits, thus leaving more power for others in the electricity grid. The project queries increasing competition for natural resources and current human- (versus eco-) centered design paradigms. Symbiots takes the form of a photo series in the genre of contemporary hyperreal art photography. Produced as posters, these have been the basis for raising awareness and discussions with neighborhood residents
