An Examination of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats Associated with the Adoption of Moodleâ„¢ by eXtension
The use of technology to deliver programming across Extension has been addressed widely; however, little research has been conducted concerning the use of Moodleâ„¢ as a course management system for Extension. The purpose of the study reported here was to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with the use of Moodleâ„¢ as an educational tool in eXtension from the perspective of those currently using the system. Findings reveal specific elements affecting the adoption of Moodleâ„¢ across eXtension that should be addressed in order to encourage further diffusion
