Elastic and inelastic scattering of 12^{12}C ions at intermediate energies

Our study relates to the constitution of a pole of documentary resources, within a teaching framework intended for the training and research taking account the user. From the EQuA²te model, elaborated within the SITE team, we observe several processes in information search activities, from which we will benefit for building our datamarts. Pad Segmentation for Stations 4 and 5 of the ALICE Muon Spectrometer

A pad segmentation based on 3 types of PCBs for each cathode plane for the stations 4/5 is presented. PCBs of 40 x 40 cm2 are used with only one pad size on each. The 4 chambers are built with the same mechanics and the electronics are only implemented inside the acceptance. This solution leads to an easier design and construction. The total number of channels for the stations 4 and 5 are found to be 487 680
