Gap bootstrap methods for massive data sets with an application to transportation engineering
In this paper we describe two bootstrap methods for massive data sets. Naive
applications of common resampling methodology are often impractical for massive
data sets due to computational burden and due to complex patterns of
inhomogeneity. In contrast, the proposed methods exploit certain structural
properties of a large class of massive data sets to break up the original
problem into a set of simpler subproblems, solve each subproblem separately
where the data exhibit approximate uniformity and where computational
complexity can be reduced to a manageable level, and then combine the results
through certain analytical considerations. The validity of the proposed methods
is proved and their finite sample properties are studied through a moderately
large simulation study. The methodology is illustrated with a real data example
from Transportation Engineering, which motivated the development of the

Relativistic Mean Field in 80 nuclei and low energy proton reactions
Relativistic Mean Field calculations have been performed for a number of
nuclei in mass 80 region. Ground state binding energy, charge radius
and charge density values have been compared with experiment. Optical potential
have been generated folding the nuclear density with the microscopic nuclear
interaction DDM3Y. S-factors for low energy () and () reactions

Comparison of lower order and higher order nonclassicality in photon added and photon subtracted squeezed coherent states
Nonclassical properties of photon added and photon subtracted squeezed
coherent states have been compared with specific focus on the higher order
nonclassicalities, such as higher order squeezing, higher order sub-Poissonian
photon statistics, higher order antibunching. It is observed that both photon
added and photon subtracted squeezed coherent states are highly nonclassical as
they satisfy criteria for all of the above mentioned nonclassicalities and a
set of other criteria including negativity of Wigner function, Klyshko's
criterion and Agarwal's parameter. Further, the amount of
nonclassicality present in these two types of states has been compared
quantitatively using a measure of nonclassicality known as nonclassical volume.
Variation in the amount of nonclassicality with the number of photon(s)
added/subtracted is also investigated, and it is found that the addition of
photons makes the squeezed coherent state more nonclassical than what is done
by the subtraction of photons.Comment: 23 pages 11 figure
Realization of Resistorless Lossless Positive and Negative Grounded Inductor Simulators Using Single ZC-CCCITA
This paper is in continuation with the very recent work of Prasad et al. [14], wherein new realizations of grounded and floating positive inductor simulator using current differencing transconductance amplifier (CDTA) are reported. The focus of the paper is to provide alternate realizations of lossless, both positive and negative inductor simulators (PIS and NIS) in grounded form using z-copy current-controlled current inverting transconductance amplifier (ZC-CCCITA), which can be considered as a derivative of CDTA, wherein the current differencing unit (CDU) is reduced to a current-controlled current inverting unit. We demonstrate that only a single ZC-CCCITA and one grounded capacitor are sufficient to realize grounded lossless PIS or NIS. The proposed circuits are resistorless whose parameters can be controlled through the bias currents. The workability of the proposed PIS is validated by SPICE simulations on three RLC prototypes
