Covers 8 years of progressive research in the development of synthetic mica by Bureau. The synthetic mica program described in this report was conducted in cooperation with the Office of Naval Research and Bureau of Ships, Dept. of the Navy, and the Army Signal Corps and the advanced engineering studies on the internal-electric-resistance process for manufacturing synthetic mica in cooperation with the Mycalex Corp. of America.
