Evaluation of the use of betamethasone dipropionate with calcipotriol foam in patients with psoriasis
stosowaniu. Pomimo że indywidualizacja leczenia pozostaje ważna, istnieje zapotrzebowanie, aby uzyskać jak najlepsze wyniki leczenia
u jak największej liczby pacjentów. Jedną z dostępnych opcji terapii miejscowej dla pacjentów z łagodną i umiarkowaną postacią łuszczycy
jest lek złożony zawierający kalcypotriol/dipropionian betametazonu (Cal/BD) w pianie. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono i omówiono
przypadki dotyczące leczenia skóry gładkiej oraz owłosionej skóry głowy z wykorzystaniem preparatu dipropionianu betametazonu
z kalcypotriolem w pianie.
Celem pracy była ocena krótkookresowej i długotrwałej skuteczności preparatu dipropionianu betametazonu z kalcypotriolem w pianie
u pacjentów z łuszczycą. Obserwacje zostały przeprowadzone u pacjentów z łuszczycą podczas 3-miesięcznego oraz 6-miesięcznego
okresu leczenia preparatem miejscowym zawierającym dipropionian betametazonu z kalcypotriolem w formie piany. Zwrócono uwagę
na zasady leczenia miejscowego łuszczycy w codziennie praktyce dermatologicznej.
W pracy omówiono efektywność kliniczną oraz zalecenia dotyczące leczenia miejscowego preparatem dipropionianu betametazonu
z kalcypotriolem w pianie u pacjentów z łuszczycą w okresie długofalowym, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem terapii proaktywnej.Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis that requires topical treatment and care in most patients. Due to the current pace of life, lack of time and unwillingness of patients to apply cosmetically unacceptable topical preparations, a person suffering from psoriasisexpects help and an indication of an easy-to-use and effective topical preparation. Currently, several topical treatments are available forpsoriasis patients. Although individualization of treatment remains important, there is a demand to achieve the best possible treatmentoutcomes in the greatest number of patients. This paper presents and discusses cases involving the treatment of skin and scalp witha foam formulation of betamethasone dipropionate with calcipotriol. The aim of the study was to assess the use of combination of betamethasone dipropionate and calcipotriol in patients with psoriasis. The observation was performed during a 3-month and 6-month treatment period with a topical combination of betamethasone dipropionateand calcipotriol in foam, in patients with psoriasis. The principles of local treatment of psoriasis in daily dermatological practicehave been emphasized. The paper discusses the use of the topical treatment with the combination of betamethasone dipropionate and calcipotriol in patientswith psoriasis in the long term outcome, with particular emphasis on proactive therapy
How Does Personality Affect Perception of Advertising Messages? The Big Five Model and Advertising Responses: A Meta-Analysis
To identify personality traits (Big Five model) sensitive to advertising appeals a meta-
analysis of 14 studies (288 correlations) was performed. Variables of brand familiarity
and types of advertising appeals were used as moderators of responses to
advertisements. Moderation effects of a type of advertising response showed that the
overall relationship between advertising response and personality is mostly shaped by
emotional and behavioral aspects of advertising response. Relationship between
individual personality traits and response to advertising was also examined. Positive
relationship was established for Extraversion and Openness: extraverts and individuals
open to experience respond positively to advertisements that are tailored to
Extraversion and Openness, respectively; and they respond more positively to
unfamiliar brands than to the familiar ones. The results are in line with literature
emphasizing the role of personality in regulation of perception, information processing
and behavior. Results are discussed in the context of micro-targeting
Ekspresja wybranych antygenów aktywacji na limfocytach T u chorych z rakiem krtani a cechy kliniczno-morfologiczne guza
Introduction. Results of studies analyzing the role of immunocompetent cells in tumor environment and whole peripheral blood indicate their responsibility for aggressiveness of neoplasm, prognosis and therapeutic effect. Atcivation of lymhocytes T is connected with expression the markers (antigens) on their surface. The aim of this study was the analysis of activation antigens expression on lymphocytes T in patients with laryngeal carcinoma and the connection with clinicomorphological features. Material and methods. Analysis of activation antigens expression CD69, CD71 and CD25, CD26, HLA/DR on lymphocytes T CD4+ i CD8+ in 33 patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx was performed. Flow cytometry-based analysis of activation antigens in T cell cultures with and without PHA stimulation was used. The connection of these molecules and clinicomorphological features was examined (pT, pN, G, Anneroth, Batsakis and Lunas’ classifi cation). Results. The significant correlation between chosen markers of activation and tumor features were noted: pT with HLA/DR/CD4, CD69CD8, CD71CD8, pN with CD26CD8, G with CD25CD8, CD71CD8, ABL score with CD25CD4. Conclusion. Our data indicated the connection of immunocompetent cell activity and spread of neoplasm in patients with laryngeal carcinoma
