The differential cross section for the dp-elastic scattering at 500 to 900 MeV/nucleon

    Get PDF
The results of the differential cross section measurements of dp-elastic scattering at energies from 500 to 900 MeV/nucleon at Nuclotron JINR are reported. The data were obtained for the angular range of 70-120◦ in the center-of-mass (c.m.s.). The results are compared with existing world dat

Measurement of the deuteron beam polarization at internal target at Nuclotron for DSS experiment

The current deuteron beam polarimetry at Nuclotron is provided by the Internal Target polarimeter based on the use of the asymmetry in dp- elastic scattering at large angles in the cms at 270 MeV. The upgraded deuteron beam polarimeter has been used obtain the vector and tensor polarization during 2016/2017 runs for the DSS experimental program. The polarimeter has been used also for tuning of the polarized ion source parameters for 6 different spin mode

Dp breakup reaction investigation using polarized and unpolarized deuteron beam

Deuteron Spin Structure (DSS) collaboration program is aimed on few nucleon correlations investigation using unpolarized and polarized deuteron beam at intermediate energy range. Data of the dp breakup reaction have been obtained at energy range from 300 - 500 MeV of deuteron energy for various detector configurations in region where few nucleon correlations and relativistic effects can play significant rol

Analyzing powers Ayy, Axx, Axz and Ay in the dd->3Hen reaction at 270 MeV

The data on the tensor Ayy, Axx, Axz and vector Ay analyzing powers in the dd->3Hen obtained at Td= 270 MeV in the angular range 0 - 110 degrees in the c.m. are presented. The observed negative sign of the tensor analyzing powers Ayy, Axx and Axz at small angles clearly demonstrate the sensitivity to the ratio of the D and S wave component of the 3He wave function. However, the one-nucleon exchange calculations by using the standard 3He wave functions have failed to reproduce the strong variation of the tensor analyzing powers as a function of the angle in the c.m.Comment: 8 pages, 7 figures, 4 tables. Toward a Generative Modeling Analysis of CLAS Exclusive 2 Photoproduction

    Get PDF
AI-supported algorithms, particularly generative models, have been successfully used in a variety of different contexts. This work employs a generative modeling approach to unfold detector effects specifically tailored for exclusive reactions that involve multiparticle final states. Our study demonstrates the preservation of correlations between kinematic variables in a multidimensional phase space. We perform a full closure test on two-pion photoproduction pseudodata generated with a realistic model in the kinematics of the Jefferson Lab CLAS g11 experiment. The overlap of different reaction mechanisms leading to the same final state associated with the CLAS detector’s nontrivial effects represents an ideal test case for AI-supported analysis. Uncertainty quantification performed via bootstrap provides an estimate of the systematic uncertainty associated with the procedure. The test demonstrates that GANs can reproduce highly correlated multidifferential cross sections even in the presence of detector-induced distortions in the training datasets, and provides a solid basis for applying the framework to real experimental data

The article shows the possibilities of multispiral computed tomography (MSCT) studies in the assessment of osteoregeneration of bone tissue after application of hydroxyapatite for filling of bone defects at different surgical operations. The comparative assessment of the rate of consolidation according to X-ray computed tomography (CT) in patients with bone fractures treated with the use of hydroxyapatite and without it is presented in the article. We studied 17 people (10 males and 7 females; average age - 39,3 ± 12,4 years). Revision arthroscopic plasty of anterior cruciate ligament of knee (n = 7 (58,3 %)), hydroxyapatite plasty of defect of bone tissue at the osteosynthesis of long bone fractures by metal constructions (n = 5 (41,6 %)) were realized. In 7 (58,3 %) cases the operation was performed with use of hydroxyapatite and in 5 (41,6 %) cases the surgery of osteosynthesis was realized with use of titanium plates. The dynamics of consolidation was determined by X-ray CT in 1, 2 and 4 months after surgery. As a result we received significant difference on the results of studies that testified to the stimulating effect of hydroxyapatite in the process of consolidation of fractures
