    The study of genomic diversity in molecular level on two sub-species i.e indica andjavanica rice types were represented by cv.Pelita 1/1 and Rojolele respectively.Javanica called padi bulu due to long aunt on the grain. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)with 17 primers have been used for detecting genomic variation between these two sub-species.Results of experiment indicated that 12 out of 17 primers showed polymorphic DNA.This study would assist plant breeder to decide,whether to improve rice quality through crossing between javanica and indica is necessary

    The average productivity of upland rice is still relatively low. Therefore, it is necessary to improve agronomic characters related to grain yields, maturity, and their adaptation in dry land. The aims of this research were to evaluate agronomic traits, genetic parameters such as genetic and phenotype variance, heritability and G x E interaction of rice mutant lines derived from gamma irradiation treatment on upland rice. This research was conducted in Situbondo and Madiun, during rain season. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that DT15/11/KU and 1058/Cty mutant lines have higher yield compared with Situgintung (check variety). The grain yield per hectare from DT15/11/KU and 1058/Cty mutant lines were 7.76 ton ha-1and 7.18 ton ha-1respectively, with 12% of water content. Broad-sense heritability, genetic and phenotypic and environmental variances for agronomical traits such as filled grain per panicle, weight of 1,000 grain, yield per plot and yield per hectare were observed. The results showed that broad-sense heritability for weight of 1,000 grain was 94%, whereas other characters was less than 40%. Phenotypic variance was dominated by genetic variance for weight of 1,000 grain. Further selection for filled grain per panicle, yield per plot and yield per hectare needs to be conducted. G x E interaction and genotype were highly significant, whereas location variance was highly significant for filled grain and weight of 1,000 grains.     One type of flexible pavements that have a high structural value is asphalt concrete. Asphalt concrete is widely used in Indonesia's roads with a high service level. Asphalt concrete is composed of aggregates of several factions that have a certain gradation using asphalt binder.This study uses asphalt concrete (AC) with a variation of Retona Blend 55 levels of 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%. Asphalt concrete mix then compacted at a temperature of 1600C. The test specimen then immersed in waterbath at a temperature of 600C with a immersion time of 0.5 hours and 24 hours.     Perubahan arus lalulintas satu arah (One Way Street) pada ruas jalan yang diterapkan Pemerintah Kota Jambi tentunya akan berimbas pada pengguna jalan yang semakin meningkat karena menghubungkan ke jalan utama. Dengan semakin meningkatnya para pengguna jalan (kendaraan bermotor) maka akan mempengaruhi kinerja dan tingkat pelayanan jalan tersebut. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memiliki tahapan-tahapan, mulai dari studi literatur dan pengumpulan data secara primer dan sekunder. Selanjutnya pengumpulan data hambatan samping dilakukan dengan menghitung dan mencatat jumlah aktivitas samping jalan pada lokasi penelitian selama periode pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh beberapa surveyor.     This research aimed: first, to analyze the Indonesian Legistative Assembly performance at Municipal level Palu City's in making provincial regulation (case study of provincial regarding local taxes). Second, to know the factors influenced the Indonesian Legistative Assembly performance at Municipal level Palu City's in making provincial regulation (case study of provincial regarding local taxes). The research method used was descriptive qualitative, population of this research was all members os Special Committtee of the Indonesian Legistative Assembly performance at Municipal level Palu City's, executives of NGO were 37 persons with the sample were 13 respondents determined by using sampling, the collected data was analyzed qualitatively by describing in systematically and analytically concerning the individual characteristics, facts, condition, or group. The research result sjowed the obtained scores of thr four indicators of this research were catagorized good. While the supporting factors for the the Indonesian Legistative Assembly performance at Municipal level Palu City's were first, the willingness of members of special committee in communication involvement with related parties towards their duties, second, the members of special committee attitude and behavior, and third, the members of special committee seriousness in doing their duties.     Induced Mutation on Jatropha (Jatropha Curcas L.) for Improvement of Agronomic Characters Variability

    Induced mutation can be used for improving quality in term of seed production, oil content in seed and early maturity of Jatropha with the aim for bio_diesel in Indonesia. The doses of 10, 15,20, and 25 Gy of gamma applied to cuttings was able to increase genetic variability in vegetatively propagated plants of Jatropha at M1V1 (mutant-vegetative-1) generation. Selection for desirable trait will be done at M1 V2 (mutant-1 and vegetative-2) generation untill homogenous plants obtained. Gamma rays at dose of 20 to 25 Gy damaged several genes controlling growth and development on Jatropha which was shown by dwarf and poor plant growth compared to control (plant without irradiation).
