    Analisis Reliabilitas Transformator (Trafo) di PT. PLN APJ Surabaya Barat dengan Pendekatan Bayesian Mixture

    Transformator adalah suatu peralatan listrik statis yang berfungsi sebagai penaik (step up) dan penurun (step down) tegangan atau arus. Besarnya jumlah permintaan akan kebutu-han listrik saat ini menyebabkan reliabi-litas dan faktor yang mempengaruhi lama bertahan trafo menjadi prioritas. Apabila terjadi kerusakan pada trafo maka terjadi pemadaman listrik di suatu daerah. Karena adanya variasi yang sangat besar pada data usia pakai trafo PLN, histogram trafo membentuk sebuah pola menyerupai gabungan dari dua distribusi weibull. Pendekatan Bayes digunakan dengan menggabungkan pengetahuan subjektif (prior) mengenai distribusi peluang dari parameter yang tidak diketahui dengan informasi yang diperoleh dari sampel. Data yang digunakan adalah data usia pakai trafo di PLN APJ Surabaya Barat dan faktor-faktor yang akan diteliti pengaruhnya terhadap reliabilitas dari trafo sebagai variabel bebas adalah beban trafo dan jumlah pelanggan yang dilayani masing-masing trafo. Data usia pakai transformator mengikuti pola distribusi mixture weibull. Semakin bertambahnya usia pakai trafo, nilai reliabilitas dari sebuah trafo juga terus mengalami penurunan. Untuk menghindari terjadinya pemadaman akibat kerusakan trafo, maka perlu ditetapkan usia trafo sebesar 20 tahun dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 7,5% sebagai early warning system (EWS) dari preventive maintanance pergantian trafo PT. PLN APJ Surabaya Barat. Dari hasil posterior parameter kovariat, faktor kapasitas tegangan yang dimiliki masing-masing trafo (X1) dan jumlah pelanggan yang dilayani masing-masing trafo di daerah tersebut (X2) tidak signifikan mempengaruhi hazard atau laju bertahan trafo dari kerusakan yang dimodelkan dalam Regresi Cox

    Methods for nitrogen activation by reduction and oxidation

    The industrial Haber-Bosch process to produce ammonia (NH3) from dinitrogen (N2) is crucial for modern society. However, N2 activation is inherently challenging and the Haber-Bosch process has significant drawbacks, as it is highly energy intensive, not sustainable due to substantial CO2 emissions primarily from the generation of H2 and requires large-centralized facilities. New strategies of sustainable N2 activation, such as low-temperature thermochemical catalysis and (photo)electrocatalysis, have been pursued, but progress has been hindered by the lack of rigor and reproducibility in the collection and analysis of results. In this Primer, we provide a holistic step-by-step protocol, applicable to all nitrogen-transformation reactions, focused on verifying genuine N2 activation by accounting for all contamination sources. We compare state-of-the-art results from different catalytic reactions following the protocol’s framework, and discuss necessary reporting metrics and ways to interpret both experimental and density functional theory results. This Primer covers various common pitfalls in the field, best practices to improve reproducibility and cost-efficient methods to carry out rigorous experimentation. The future of nitrogen catalysis will require an increase in rigorous experimentation and standardization to prevent false positives from appearing in the literature, which can enable advancing towards practical technologies for the activation of N2

    The Influence of Managerial Competence Social Competence School Of Teacher In SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of the principal managerial competence of the social competence of teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar. This is a descriptive quantitative research the population of all teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar, which amounted to 74 people. The data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis with data normality test, product moment, and linear regression analysis. The results showed for the level of managerial competence headmaster of SMAN 11 Makassar are in either category, from the aspects of conceptual abilities, human abilities, and engineering capabilities, to the level of social competence of teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar are in either category, from the aspect of adaptation , communication, and interaction, so there is significant influence between the principal managerial competence with social competence of teachers at SMAN 11 Makassar

    Conflict Management on Employee Performance in Public Organizations

    Conflicts that occur will cause two consequences: conflicts that can be profitable and conflicts that can harm public organizations. Therefore, in the Local Government of Barru Regency, conflict management is needed to overcome everything. The purpose of the research is to determine the level of conflict management and performance of the Regional Government of Barru Regency employees, using quantitative research methods. In this study, there were 97 respondents. Data collection used include questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The present study applied product-moment correlation analysis using SPSS software. The results of the study showed that the indicators used in each variable showed conflict management conducted in the Barru District Government obtained a result of 77.86 percent with a good category, for the performance level of employees obtained a result of 79.78 percent with a good category

    Kualitas Pelayanan Pembuatan Paspor pada Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi Biak

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya tingkat kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh pegawai dan kurangnya kesadaran pemohon untuk mempersiapkan berkas yang menjadi persyaratan untuk melakukan suatu urusan pelayanan pembuatan paspor pada Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi Biak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, memahami, mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan hasil temuan peneliti terkait kualitas pelayanan pembuatan paspor pada Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi Biak dengan menggunakan 5 indikator kualitas pelayanan yakni bukti langsung (tangibel), daya tanggap (responsiviness), keandalan (realibility), jaminan (assurance), serta perhatian (emphaty). Adapun metode yang dipakai adalah metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Jenis data dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Lokasi penelitian di Kantor Imigrasi Kelas II Tempat Pemeriksaan Imigrasi Biak Kabupaten Biak Numfor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan pembuatan paspor yang diberikan kepada para pemohon belum tercapai dengan baik dan maksimal dilihat dari aspek keandalan (reliability) dimana sistem atau jaringan pada sangat pembuatan paspor masih sering terhambat/gangguan dan harus menunggu sampai bisa digunakan kembali.Dilihat dari aspek lain seperti bukti langsung (tangible), daya tanggap (responsiveness), jaminan (assurance) dan perhatian (emphaty) yang sudah tercapai secara maksimal pada saat proses pembuatan paspor

    In facing the era of globalization which is full of challenges and opportunities, state apparatus as public servants who provide the best service towards good governance. This study uses a qualitative approach. With observation data collection techniques and in-depth interviews. This study aims to analyze the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Supiori Regency. This study aims to determine and analyze the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Supiori Regency and to identify and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Supiori Regency. The results showed that the performance of financial and asset managers in the Supiori district was still in the "medium" category, tending to be "low". This means that there is a need for internal organizational policies to improve employee performance and the factors that affect the performance of financial and asset managers in Supirori Regency, seen from their human resources, are still varied and categorized as low. What is owned is not in accordance with the tupoksi owned, judging from the competence of work from the aspect of formal education, it seems that it is not very important in encouraging the improvement of the performance of the apparatus, while the aspects of education and training and work experience play an important role in encouraging the improvement of employee performance

    Model Components Selection in Bayesian Model Averaging Using Occam's Window for Microarray Data

    Microarray is an analysis for monitoring gene expression activity simultaneously. Microarray data are generated from microarray experiments having characteristics of very few number of samples where the shape of distribution is very complex and the number of measured variables is very large. Due to this specific characteristics, it requires special method to overcome this. Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA) is a Bayesian solution method that is capable to handle microarray data with a best single model constructed by combining all possible models in which the posterior distribution of all the best models will be averaged. There are several method that can be used to select the model components in Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA). One of the method that can be used is the Occam's Window method. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of Occam's Window method in the selection of the best model components in the Bayesian Model Averaging (BMA). The data used in this study are some of the gene expression data as a result of microarray experiments used in the study of Sebastiani, Xie and Ramoni in 2006. The results showed that the Occam's Window method can reduce a number of models that may be formed as much as 65.7% so that the formation of a single model with Bayesian Model Averaging method (BMA) only involves the model of 34.3%.
