    Empowerment of Students Critical Thinking Skills Through Implementation of Think Talk Write Combined Problem Based Learning

    Critical thinking is a complex reflection process that helps individuals become more analytical in their thinking. Empower critical thinking in students need to be done so that students can resolve the problems that exist in their life and are able to apply alternative solutions to problems in a different situations. Therefore, Think Talk Write (TTW) combined Problem Based Learning (PBL) were needed to empowered the critical thinking skills so that students were able to face the challenges of the 21'st century. TTW combined PBL is a learning model that is expected to empower the students critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research was to determined the effect of TTW combined PBL to the students critical thinking skills. The research is a quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Samples were X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2 in SMAN 6 Malang. Data obtained from the critical thinking skills essay test. The data were analyzed using Anacova test. The results showed that learning biology with TTW combined PBL learning model can effect on students critical thinking skills

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Booklet dan Video sebagai Penguatan Karakter Hidup Bersih dan Sehat

    This study aims to develop learning media booklets and videos of clean and healthy life characters using the ADDIE model (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The average percentage of booklet validation is 100% and the video is 96.89%. The result of validation by the media expert including the category is very valid. The result of the average practicality test booklet media is 98,90% and the video is 97,50% which is very valid category. The result of the large group test based on the paired T-test and the wilcoxon rank test showed the literate knowledge of the people in each kecamatan with p (0.00) <0.05, meaning that knowledge increased significantly, in the illiterate people in Kecamatan Bantur, p> 0.05 means knowledge Increased insignificantly, while in other sub-districts had a value of p <0.05 which means a significant increase.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran booklet dan video karakter hidup bersih dan sehat dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yaitu (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, dan (5) evaluation. Persentase rata-rata validasi booklet sebesar 100% dan video sebesar 96,89%. Hasil validasi oleh ahli media termasuk kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan rata-rata media pembelajaran booklet sebesar 98,90% dan video sebesar 97,50% yang termasuk kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji kelompok besar berdasarkan hasil Uji-T berpasangan dan wilcoxon rank test menunjukkan pengetahuan masyarakat yang melek huruf pada setiap kecamatan dengan p (0.00) < 0.05, artinya pengetahuan meningkat secara signifikan, pada masyarakat buta huruf di Kecamatan Bantur diperoleh p > 0.05 artinya pengetahuan meningkat secara tidak signifikan, sedangkan pada kecamatan lain memiliki nilai p < 0.05 yang artinya mengalami peningkatan secara signifikan

    Pengaruh Project Based Learning Berbantuan Multimedia terhadap Keterampilan Memecahkan Masalah dan Hasil Belajar Psikomotor Siswa Kelas XI SMA

    This study conducted a quasi-experiment to determine whether the PjBL can increase problem solving abilities and psychomotor skills of students. Data analysis was performed using SPSS obtained from the pretest and posttest students. Based on the results of the analysis, problem-solving skills of students experienced a significant increase of 15.17% with a corrected value of 58.12 in the control group and an increase of 31.27% with a corrected value of 68.65 in the experimental class. Psychomotor Skills students experienced a significant increase of 0.53% with a corrected value of 52.58 in the control group and 10.92% in the experimental class with a corrected value of 66.16.Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah PjBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan memecahkan masalah dan hasil belajar psikomotor siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS yang diperoleh dari hasil pretes dan postes siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, keterampilan memecahkan masalah siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 15,17% dengan nilai terkoreksi sebesar 58,01 pada kelas kontrol dan peningkatan sebesar 31,27% dengan nilai terkoreksi sebesar 68,65 pada kelas eksperimen. Hasil belajar psikomotor siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan sebesar 0,53% dengan nilai terkoreksi 52,58 pada kelas kontrol dan 10,92% pada kelas eksperimen dengan nilai terkoreksi sebesar 66,16

    : This research aims to analyze ‘mahasiswa pencinta alam' knowledge in utilizing survival plants. The research method was quantitative descriptive, which involved 60 respondents. The data were collected through questionnaire and interview. The results showed that 54 % respondents had very low knowledge about plant survival. The respondent lack of knowledge about identification and species of plant survival and in the forest and also difficultto get information sources such as the book of survival guide in order to support their knowledge. It is required to develop a popular scientific guidance book about survival plants

    Textbooks are learning guide books used by students in order to help achieve the goals of national education. Development of textbooks is one of the ways in which to facilitate the achievement of learning indicators. Development of Cell Biology textbooks by using bioinformatics approaches Dick and Carey development model. Textbooks developed validated by subject matter experts, instructional media experts, individual testing 15 students, and 15 students were group trial. Validation results matter experts declared feasible by 84% in good categories. The results of the validation study media experts declared feasible by 82.4% in good categories.Buku ajar merupakan buku panduan pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh siswa guna membantu mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pengembangan buku ajar merupakan salah satu cara yang dilakukan untuk memfasilitasi tercapainya indikator pembelajaran. Pengembangan buku ajar Biologi Sel dengan pendekatan Bioinformatika menggunakan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Buku ajar yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media pembelajaran, 15 mahasiswa uji coba perorangan, dan 15 mahasiswa uji coba kelompok sedang. Hasil validasi ahli materi menyatakan layak sebesar 84% dengan kategori baik. Hasil validasi ahli media pembelajaran menyatakan layak sebesar 82,4% dengan kategori baik

    This study aims to determine the effect BETS learning to critical thinking skills and learning outcomes biology class X Senior High School in Malang. This research was conducted at SMAN 7 Malang from February-May 2016. Critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes measured by a written test, whereas affective and psikomor measured by observations during the learning activities. Result critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed using statistical test with the help of software SPSS 22.0 for Window. The results showed there are the influence of BETS towards critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes; affective value of the experimental class higher than the control class; the control class psychomotor value higher than the experimental class.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran BETS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar biologi kelas X SMA Kota Malang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 7 Malang pada bulan Februari-Mei 2016. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif diukur melalui tes tulis sedangkan ranah afektif dan psikomor diukur melalui observasi selama pembelajaran. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik dengan bantuan Software SPSS 22.0 for Window. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh strategi BETS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif; afektif kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol; psikomotor kelas kontrol lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol
