    No full text
The therapy of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis is restricted to heparin and vitamin K antagonists. In last years, new oral anticoagulant treatments have been developed. Factor Xa inhibitors and thrombin inhibitors have been extensively used in prophylaxis of the ischemic stroke secondary to the atrial fibrillation. Direct oral anticoagulants have emerged as an option for anticoagulation in treatment of venous thromboembolism.
