The problems of training the high qualified personnel by the universities of Ukraine in terms of formation an innovative economic model and directions of their solution

Наведені аналіз ознак, притаманних економічній категорії «людський капітал», та безпосередньо дефініція поняття. Обґрунтовано взаємовплив рівня освіти в країні та людського капіталу. Проведено порівняльну характеристику індексу людського капіталу у розрізі країн та позицій національних систем вищої освіти. Відзначено взаємозв’язок між якістю підготовки випускників загальноосвітніх навчальних закладів та їх потенціалу як студентів ВНЗ. Запропоновано ряд заходів щодо підвищення якості надання освітніх послуг та підготовки висококваліфікованих кадрів для ринку праці. The analysis of features, which inherent of the economic category of "human capital" and the definition of the concept directly are cited. The interplay of the level of education in the country and human capital is found. The comparative characteristic of index of human capital to the countries and the positions of national systems of higher education is done. The interrelation between the quality of training of graduates of secondary schools and their potential as students of universities is noted. A number of measures for improving the quality of giving of educational services and training of high qualified personnel for the labor market is proposed

У статті проведено аналіз гендерної нерівності у системі вищої освіти країни, виявлено наявну горизонтальну та вертикальну сегрегації. Представлено статистичні відмінності щодо гендерного представлення у вищих навчальних закладах на різних щаблях та академічних спеціальностях. Наведено аналіз зарубіжного досвіду вирішення гендерних проблем вищими навчальними закладами Великобританії, Німеччини, Швейцарії та успіхи подолання гендерних протиріч у Киргизстані. Запропоновано заходи щодо усунення проблем гендерної нерівності у сфері вищої освіти України. This article analyzes gender inequality in higher education of the country and represents the existing horizontal and vertical segregations. It presents the statistical differences concerning the gender representation in higher education at various levels and academic specialties. It demonsrates the analysis of foreign experience solving the problem of gender by the universities of the UK, Germany, Switzerland and successes of overcoming the gender contradictions in Kyrgyzstan. It proposes measures to eliminate the problem of gender inequality in higher education of Ukraine

The competitiveness of higher education of Ukraine in dimension of international rankings

Предметом дослідження є стан системи вищої освіти України в рамках компаративного аналізу міжнародних систем ранжування. Мета статті – здійснити аналіз рівня конкурентоспроможності національної системи вищої освіти та виокремити проблемні аспекти її розвитку. В статті використані описовий метод – для розкриття наявної інформації по кожній системі ранжування, метод узагальнень і графічний метод – для демонстрації складових загальної рейтингової оцінки та її динаміки у розрізі країн. Результатом роботи є проведений аналіз стану вищої освіти України з огляду на необхідність посилення її конкурентоспроможності на основі таких світових рейтингів як: Universitas21 або U21 та QS Higher Education System Strength. Сфера застосування результатів дослідження – національна програма розвитку системи вищої освіти України. В статті наведено складові SWOT-аналізу, особливості методологій міжнародних систем ранжування вищої освіти на макрорівні. Розглянуті аналітичні звіти проведеного дослідження конкурентоспроможності систем вищої освіти з використаннях вищезазначених рейтингів. Оцінені позиції вищої освіти України в межах світових систем ранжування. Побудовано матрицю SWOT-аналізу вищої освіти України. Запропоновано напрями стратегічного управління щодо посилення конкурентоспроможності вищої освіти України на ринку освітніх послуг. The subject of research is the state of higher education of Ukraine within the comparative analysis of international rankings. The purpose of the paper - to analyse the level of competitiveness the national higher education system and identify the problematic aspects of its development. The paper is used the descriptive method - for disclosing the information available for each system of ranking, method of summarizing and graphical method - to show the components of the overall rating assessment and its dynamics by countries. The result of this research is the conducted analysis of the state of higher education of Ukraine because of the need to strengthen its competitiveness on the basis of such international rankings as: Universitas21 or U21 and QS Higher Education System Strength. The sphere of application of the research results is the national program for development of higher education of Ukraine. The components of SWOT-analysis, the peculiarities of methodologies of the international rankings of higher education on the macro-level are shown in this paper. The analytical reports of the conducted research of competitiveness of higher education with using the aforementioned ratings are considered. The positions of the system of higher education of Ukraine within the framework of international rankings are estimated. The SWOT-analysis of higher education of Ukraine is done. The directions of strategic management to enhance the competitiveness of higher education of Ukraine on the market of educational services are proposed

У статті визначено ступінь економіко-соціально ефекту від створення інноваційно-інтегрованих структур. Розкрито поняття інноваційно-інтегрованої структури, класифікація найбільш поширених форм у світі. Відображено порівняльну характеристику кожної з них. Представлено матрицю присутності кожної із видів інноваційно-інтегрованих структур у різних країнах світу, в тому числі в Україні. The aim of the article is conducting the classification of the most common types of innovation-integrated structures in the countries of the world and their peculiarities in various countries of the world in order to fully disclose the importance of the impact of innovation-integrated structures on the competitiveness of countrys' economies of the world. The concept of an innovation-integrated structure, classification of the most common forms in the world are disclosed. A comparative characteristic of each of them is presented. The matrix of the presence of each of the types of innovation-integrated structures in different countries of the world is presented, including in Ukraine

The quality management system in educational institutions of the Slovak Republic: Impact on the Ranking’s position

The purpose of the study is to verify the level of impact of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2000) on the ranking university on an example of Technical University in Kosice. This article presents detailed analysis of the tools of ensuring quality in European Educational Area, the international standard ISO 9001-2000 "Quality Management System — Requirements" and correlation-regressional analysis of relationship between faculties' positions in ARRA Ranking of Technical University in Kosice and and the implemented quality management system. The own research gives the consciousness about the considerable impact of the quality management system in educational sphere nowadays, when the requirements to it are increasing so fast. It can be stated that quality in educational process is understood as the conformity to the defined, juridically proclaimed, standards of Educational Area. An interesting area of further research would be implemented process of certification quality management system at universities in Ukraine as an approach of increasing position in international rankings. The paper provides the analysis of relationship between faculties' positions in ARRA Ranking of Technical University in Kosice and and implemented quality management system

The methods of evaluation the level of competitiveness of the universities

Сформовано поняття конкурентоспроможності ВНЗ та подано перелік основних факторів, які впливають на рівень їх конкурентоспроможності. Досліджено теоретико-методологічні методи оцінки рівня конкурентоспроможності ВНЗ. З переліку всіх методів було виокремлено матриці стратегій, методи експертних оцінок, бенчмаркінгу та метод рейтингових оцінок. Запропоновано компоненти для формування матриці SWOT-аналізу ВНЗ. Виокремлено найбільш поширені рейтингові системи в Україні, їх недоліки. Визначено необхідність формування методу інтегрального характеру. Concept the competitiveness of universities are formed and the list of main factors, which affects on the level of competitiveness are presented. Theoretical and methodological methods of evaluation of the competitiveness of the universities are investigated. From the list of all methods was selected matrix strategies, methods of expert assessments, benchmarking, and the method of rating assessments. The components to form a SWOT-analysis of the universities are suggested. The most common rating system in Ukraine are singled, their limitations. The necessity of forming method of integral type are determined
