Developing Communicative English Language Tests for Tourism Vocational High School Students

The present study aimed at developing communicative language tests for vocational high school students. A Research and Development design was employed in this study with the primary target was to develop communicative English language tests. The main procedures in the development of the test include: (1) identifying objectives, (2) developing the test specification, (3) developing the communicative tests, (4) analyzing the results of the preliminary tryout of the communicative tests drafts, (5) revising the communicative test drafts, (6) trying out the communicative test drafts, (7) analyzing the results of the tryout of the communicative tests, (8) revising the communicative test drafts. Questionnaires and observation blanks sheet was used to gather comments, opinions, and criticisms on the draft of communicative tests from a number of selected experts. The analysis of the communicative tests tryout was done to ensure the validity, reliability, and practicality of the tests

Developing Learning Methods of Indonesian as a Foreign Language

The present study was conducted which aims at developing teaching methods of Indonesian as a foreign language. This study was carried out for two years in the form of Research and Development design to develop accuracy of teaching methods to be employed to teach the Indonesian language. The study was conducted as an important and crucial issue encountered by prospective teachers of Indonesian as a foreign language to face global challenges in which teachers of Indonesian are urgently required to teach effectively. In addition, this study was conducted to prepare the Indonesian teachers to be professional teachers and ready to face the competitive world of work. In the first year, the research was focused on creating a draft of effective learning methods to teach Indonesian as a foreign language. Consequently, this study was started by analyzing the teaching methods that have been used by various language learning institutions. The second year, the study is mainly focused on trying out and validated the learning methods to ensure their effectiveness to teach Indonesian as a foreign language

Pengaruh Likuiditas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Leverage dan Jaminan terhadap Peringkat Obligasi pada Sektor Keuangan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pengaruh likuiditas, ukuran Perusahaan, leverage dan jaminan terhadap peringkat obligasi sektor keuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari www.idx.co.id. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 20 obligasi Perusahaan sektor keuangan periode 2012-2014, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji analisis regresi logistik dan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 13 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap peringkat obligasi. Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peringkat obligasi. Leverage berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap peringkat obligasi. Jaminan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peringkat obligasi. Perusahaan hendaknya lebih memperhatikan dan mampu meningkatkan nilai likuiditas Perusahaan agar Perusahaan memperoleh peringkat obligasi berkategori investment-grade karena para investor lebih tertarik untuk melakukan investasi pada obligasi di Perusahaan yang berkategori investment-grade

Pengaruh Leverage dan Likuiditas terhadap Kebijakan Dividen dengan Profitabilitas sebagai Variabel Intervening di Bei

Kebijakan dividen merupakan keputusan keuangan yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan setelah Perusahaan beroperasi dan memperoleh laba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh leverage dan likuiditas terhadap kebijakan dividen dengan profitabilitas sebagai variable moderasi di BEI. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan sampel adalah non-probability yaitu purposive sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 51 Perusahaan manufaktur yang di BEI sesuai kriteria tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi non partisipan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur atau path analysis diserta dengan uji sobel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa leverage berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dan kebijakan dividen. Likuiditas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, namun tidak signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Leverage secara tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen melalui profitabilitas, sedangkan likuiditas secara berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen melalui profitabilitas. Implikasi praktis yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini bahwa hendakya ketiga variabel tersebut memperoleh perhatian lebih besar dari manajemen keuangan Perusahaan manufaktur dalam menentukan kebijakan dividen.   Kata kunci: leverage, likuiditas, profitabilitas, kebijakan dividen &nbsp

Meningkatkan Aktivitas Dan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Qt Dengan Kerangka Tandur Dalam Pembelajaran Bangun Segi Empat Pada Siswa Kelas VII C SMP Pancasila Canggu Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012

Mathematics should be taught interestingly. One of the interesting learning models is Quantum Teaching (QT). In this study, QT model is applied in the class VII C SMP Pancasila Canggu, in the academic year 2011/2013. The goals were to improve the activities and achievements of student learning through the application of models by QT TANDUR method and to find out how the response of against the application of QT framework with model TANDUR in learning up a rectangle. The results shown that an average score of learning activities in cycle I, II, III for consecutive 9,66, 12.32, and 14,18. It is categorized as active enough, active, and active. Further, there was improvement seen from the results of student learning achievement based on the average class (X ), absorbance (DS), and the mastery learning (KB); cycle I are: 64,15 64,15,%, 60,97%, cycle II: 77,33 77,33% 88,37,%, and in cycle III: 80.00 80.00%, 93,02%

Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Program Bank Sampah: Model Logit

Increase of population, changes in consumption patterns and lifestyles of people in Denpasar certainly can increase the amount of landfill waste, types of waste, and the diversity of characteristics other debris. Bank of waste is a form of waste management based environment that serves as a sorting and collection of non-organic waste that can be recycled or reused to produce economic value. The aim of this study was to analyze how the people in the program participation waste bank in Denpasar and to analyze the influence of variables education level, household income, employment status, and number of family members significantly affect the chances of participation in the program garbage bank in Denpasar. Partisiapasi community in garbage bank program is the dependent variable is a dummy. This study uses primary data types, data was collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The data analysis technique used is logit model. Based on the analysis found that people who actively participate in the program garbage bank in Denpasar that is equal to 64.3 percent. Education level, household income, employment status, and number of family members and significant positive effect on the chances of participation in the program garbage bank
