CONCEPTUAL AREAS OF “SHELL-NOUNS” IN ENGLISH

    No full text
The article deals with the cognitive basis for the formation of meanings nouns general semantics (shell nouns) in the process of functioning of the language. Based on the analysis of the existing classifications of “shell-nouns”, we selected the following English nouns for more detailed learning: thing, matter, fact, case, stuff, point, idea, way, as having the deepest functional potential. In the paper one of the areas of conceptualization, but also indicates a number of meanings, formed on the conceptual background of this field is described. The analysis of dictionary prescriptions of these lexical units allows to identify the most characteristic aspects of the interpretation of their concepts

Agroecological assessment of water-physical properties of irrigated soils of the Trans-Urals in the analysis of the main hydrophysical characteristics

Water-physical properties of soils are a set of soil properties that determine the accumulation, preservation and water transfer in the soil stratum. One of the important indicators of water-physical properties are soil-hydrological constants. These indicators can be used in forecasting yield, calculating the irrigation rate. The determination of soil-hydrological constants is a rather laborious process. In this article, we propose to obtain soil-hydrological constants from the data of the main hydrophysical characteristics. This technique allows to analyze the data and obtain soil-hydrological constants from the data of granulometric composition. The conducted studies have shown that the use of uncontrolled irrigation has led to the transformation of water-physical properties, the content of easily mobile, productive and gravitational moisture has decreased. When modeling the MHC curve, a change in the shape on the graphs can be noted

Synthesis and properties of nitrozoruthenium thiocarbamide complex

The [RuNO(Thio)4Cl]Cl2 compound (where Thio is thiocarbamide) was synthesized by reacting nitrozochloro complexes of Ru with thiocarbamide. Its structure and properties in solutions were studied by IR, EAS, EPR, Ph-metric, and electrical conductivity methods. The complex was found to have octahedral structure, with the chlorine atom in the trans-position relative to the nitrozo group, and four Thio groups coordinated through the sulfur atom and lying in the equatorial plane. This compound is labile in solutions. The mechanism and rate constants of the first hydrolysis stage were determined at 25, 50, and 75°C, and the enthalpy of the reaction was estimated. With a Thio excess, the nitrozo group is replaced to form the Ru(III) and Ru(II) thiocarbamide complexes
