Signs of brain organic lesion in patients examined in the acute period of ixodic tick-borne borreliosis

Signs of organic lesion of brain have been studied in 85 patients in the acute period of tick-borne borreliosis. The analysis of results of clinical and clinical-psychopathological studies has revealed signs of brain organic lesion (BOL) in 100% cases. In the studied group, the moderate degree of BOL signs is most often (54%), mild cases are somewhat rarer (41%), and the pronounced degree is confidently rarer (5%). The degree of manifestation of signs of brain organic lesion depends on the age and the somatic-neurological burdened background of patients and influences the course of the acute and remote periods of ixodic tick-borne borreliosis

Characterization of cellular immune response associated with infection intensity in chronic opisthorchiasis patients

The aim of this work was to assess the lymphocyte transformating responses to stimulation with antigens or mitogens in chronic opisthorchiasis patients with low and high degrees of infection intensity. Результаты исследования эпидемиологической эффективности йодантипирина как средства экстренной профилактики клещевого энцефалита

Jodantipyrin is an antiviral medicament, inductor of endogenous interferon. It relates to the group of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory medicaments of pyrazolone derivative. The principal mechanism of Jodantipyrin antiviral effect is its ability to induce endogenous interferons of the 1 st and 2 nd types, what has been confirmed by the results of numerous and detailed preclinical and clinical trials. At the present time a long-term experience of this medicament application as a prophylactic agent in case of tick-borne encephalitis and data of postmarketing monitoring of the medicament safety have been accumulated. This experience confirms efficacy of the medicament in prophylaxis of tick-borne encephalitis.Йодантипирин - противовирусный препарат, индуктор эндогенного интерферона. Относится к группе нестероидных противовоспалительных препаратов производных пиразолона.
