: The aim of this study is to give the understanding and knowledge about Jepin Tali Bintang dance in Pontianak. This study is about analyzing the structure of the arrangement on Japin Tali Bintang dance in Pontianak, West Borneo. The research design used in this study is descriptive, which is qualitative research design. In this study, the researcher use a choreography approach, the data in this study is the structure of the performances on Jepin Tali Bintang dance in Pontianak, West Borneo. The sources of data are Juhermi Thahi, M Yusuf Dahyani and Anwar Jafar. Techniques used in this study to collect the data are interview, observation, and documentation and the instruments used in this study are interview questions, interview guides, cell phone camera, and a field note.The results of this study on Jepin Tali Bintang dance have the structure of performances which are consists of the initial movements, middle movements and end of the movements. Besides, others elements in dance are floor designs, upper designs, dramatic designs, the dynamics of dance, the composition of the group, a theme, back sound, dance properties, makeup and dress, and a venue.The results of this study are expected to be implemented in the Cultural and Arts lesson in class VIII semesters I

Upaya Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Seni Tari Jepin Lembut Melalui Metode Kooperatif Jigsaw Di SMP

The background of this research is the lack of the student's interest in learning art dance, it can be seen from the first observation through the questionnaire about hobby, only 15 students who like to dance. On the other hand, based on the writers's observation during teaching process, most students did not enthusiastically take part. The purpose of this research is to increase the students' learning interest on dance art Jepin Lembut through jigsaw cooperative method on the first year student of SMPN 1 Paloh. Base on the result in cycle I and II, the writer concluded that the learning process through jigsaw cooperative method could increase the students' interest on dance art Jepin Lembut at class 7 of SMPN 1 Paloh

Peningkatan Keterampilan Bermain Rekorder melalui Metode Demonstrasi di SMP

This study aims to improve students' skills in playing the flute through the method of demonstration. The research is a form of class action. The subjects were students of class VIII B, for a total of 26 people. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research tool is the observation sheets and sheets test of skill. The results showed that in the first cycle of students still make mistakes in the position of the recorder under the 30o or 45o above, then students are still using thoracic breathing. The radius of the students still looks stiff in the hole last recorder. All students not yet fluent in the recorder closing holes. In the second cycle, students have been able to maintain properly. some students still use abdominal breathing and chest so the emitted tone becomes unstable found. Students can now close the hole and recorder and not look stiff. It can be concluded that through the demonstration method can improve students' skills in playing the recorder

Peningkatkan Ketrampilan Menggunakan Media Pianika dengan Metode Driil SMP 1 Teriak Bengkayang

The purpose of this research is to study the art of music is expected to improve students' skills in using media pianika. The method used in this research is descriptive, with a qualitative approach. Pennelitian shape is action research (action research) with action research procedures including planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Driil method is something to do the same activity over and over again in earnest with the aim to strengthen the skills to be a permanent thing.Learning outcomes in this study is the knowledge and abilities of learners. The conclusions of this study is the use driil method can improve skills in using media pianika seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Shouts Bengkayang. Improved learning outcomes in mind of the average value of student learning outcomes during the first cycle that is 66.28 students' skills in using media pianika musical instruments have not been successful because the average value of students under the KKM is 70. In the second cycle increased to 77, 87 in both categories

This research is motivated by the asumptions about the history of musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city. To investigate it, this research was focused into two aspects: (1) the historical aspect of the inclusion of violin musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city (2) the development aspect of violin musical instrument in the accompaniment of Jepin dance. This research is uses descriptive method with a form of qualitative research and historical approach. The results of this research being presented cover a few things: (1) the inclusion of violin musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city occured since 1950-1965 (2) the development of violin musical instrument in the accompaniment of Jepin dance occured since 1950-1995. Peningkatan Kemampuan Membaca Notasi Balok melalui Metode Drill di SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca notasi balok dengan menggunakan metode drill pada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan sifat penelitian kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII C Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Yang menjadi subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Guru selaku peneliti yang melaksanakan pembelaran Seni Budaya dan Keterampilan dengan menggunakan metode drill dan siswa kelas VII C SMPN 3 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama Teknik pernapasan siswa masih banyak yang menggunakan pernapasan Perut sehingga mereka terlihat cepat letih. Pada aspek intonasi, masih banyak siswa yang membaca notasi balok dengan intonasi yang kurang tepat. Pada aspek artikulasi, masih banyak siswa yang ragu-ragu dalam membaca notasi balok sehingga suara yang keluar tidak jelas. Pada siklus II hampir seluruh siswa sudah menggunakan teknik pernapasan diafragma. Siswa sudah mampu dalam menyanyikan notasi balok dengan intonasi dan artikulasi yang tepat. Siswa juga sudah lebih serius dalam berekspresi saat menyanyikan lagu Burung Tantina. This research used descriptive research form of classroom action research and collaborative nature of the research. The research was conducted in classes VII C School SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Islands. Who is the subject of this research is the teacher as a researcher conducting pembelaran Cultural Art and Craft using the drill and the students of class VII C SMPN 3 Sungai Raya Islands. Research results showed that in the first cycle of breathing techniques that many students still use abdominal breathing so they look tired quickly. In the aspect of intonation, there are still many students who read notation with less precise intonation. In the aspect of articulation, there are still many students who are hesitant in reading notation so that the sound that comes out is not clear. In the second cycle almost all the students are already using diaphragmatic breathing technique. Students have been able to sing notation with precise intonation and articulation.
