Analisis Prediksi Penerimaan Pengguna Fitur ShopeeFood Menggunakan Algoritma Support Vector Machine

Sejalan dengan pandemi pada tahun 2020 membuat perkembangan teknologi, Internet, e-commerce, dan platform online telah menjadi semakin berkembang dan popular. Kumpulan data Measurable AI mengungkapkan bahwa permintaan konsumen untuk layanan pengiriman makanan online atau online food delivery (OFD) telah meningkat secara konsisten selama pandemi dan memasuki pascapandemi, salah satunya Indonesia. Hal ini tentunya membuat Shopee memanfaatkan kesempatan melalui layanan ShopeeFood untuk memasarkan makanan dan minuman secara online dan dalam waktu kurang dari satu tahun peluncuran ShopeeFood telah menempati posisi kedua sebagai platform layanan pesan antar makanan online yang pertama kali diingat menurut KataData.com. Kemudian, peneliti ingin memprediksi penerimaan pengguna fitur ShopeeFood menggunakan algoritma Support Vector Machine dengan bantuan tools RapidMiner. Jenis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner secara online dengan Google Form kepada pengguna fitur ShopeeFood di Surabaya sebanyak 275 data. Kemudian data yang didapatkan dibagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu menerima dan tidak menerima yang diolah dengan menggunakan algoritma SVM. Hasil akhir dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil pengujian 10-fold cross validation dengan nilai k=3 memeroleh hasil akurasi 97.82%

Measuring dark matter substructure with galaxy-galaxy flexion statistics

It is of great interest to measure the properties of substructures in dark matter haloes at galactic and cluster scales. Here we suggest a method to constrain substructure properties using the variance of weak gravitational flexion in a galaxy-galaxy lensing context; this is a statistical method, requiring many foreground-background pairs of galaxies. We show the effectiveness of flexion variance in measuring substructures in N-body simulations of dark matter haloes, and present the expected galaxy-galaxy lensing signals. We show the insensitivity of the method to the overall galaxy halo mass, and predict the method's signal-to-noise ratio for a space-based all-sky survey, showing that the presence of substructure down to 109 M⊙ haloes can be reliably detecte

The Impact of ICT on Economic Growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Modeling Using Principal Component Panel Regression

In the fourth industrial revolution, information and communication technology (ICT) has posed a paradox. On the one hand, ICT plays an important role in human life, not only as information and communication devices but also as the booster of economic activities to enhance revenue. On the other hand, ICT has also created disruption in various aspects of life which resulting in disadvantages to some groups in the society.  This study aims to examine whether technology still has a positive effect on the economy. To achieve this objective, it took a case study from East Java Province, Indonesia.  The data is panel consisting of gross regional product and the number of ICT users in East Java.  More specifically, the number of ICT users consists of several variables, i.e. the number of the mobile phone users, the number of computer users, the number of internet users, the number of internet users for transactions of goods and services, and the number of the internet users for financial facilities.  The analysis employed least square panel regression with gross regional product as the response variable and the number of ICT users as a predictor variable.  However, there was a high correlation between the predictor variables that caused the model regression not proper.  This problem was solved by combining least square panel regression with Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Using PCA method, the dimension of the variable was reduced to be one principal component.  This principal component is a linear combination of the predictor variables.  Then, this principal component was regressed with the gross regional product.  The best panel regression model is the Fixed Effect Model.  This model shows that all predictor variables have positive coefficients.  It means that ICT still has a positive impact on economic growth

Weak lensing forecasts for dark energy, neutrinos and initial conditions

Weak gravitational lensing provides a sensitive probe of cosmology by measuring the mass distribution and the geometry of the low-redshift Universe. We show how an all-sky weak lensing tomographic survey can jointly constrain different sets of cosmological parameters describing dark energy, massive neutrinos (hot dark matter) and the primordial power spectrum. In order to put all sectors on an equal footing, we introduce a new parameter β, the second-order running spectral index. Using the Fisher matrix formalism with and without cosmic microwave background (CMB) priors, we examine how the constraints vary as the parameter set is enlarged. We find that weak lensing with CMB priors provides robust constraints on dark energy parameters and can simultaneously provide strong constraints on all three sectors.
